Sorry, have to disagree on this one. NTL are, in my experience, far far better than BT. We've had no problems and I don't know anyone in this area who has... maybe it depends on where you live in the country

It does completely. Both NTL and Telewest own a mishmash of franchises previously owned by totally different companies. Both companies are trying to standardies everything but standards and quality of technology and infrastructure in place still varies enormously from area to area and will probably do so for some time, given the state of both firms' finances.

Totally agree, I had mucho problems with ntl when living in Northampton, but none at all in South Wales, where I found them much easier than BT to deal with.

They can't possibly as bad as BT

I have the delight of the Cambridge Cable flavour of NTL. CC weren't too bad, but they seem to have gone really down hill since being assimilated by NTL.

I've used NTL for 2 years now, and apart from the odd time they've gone down, usually due to weather conditions, I've never had a single problem with them.

I've got a couple of mates that use NTL and they have been waiting on gear to get sorted with their broadband. Needless to say that it hasn't arrived (after numerous weeks). However their customer service knows no bounds of suckiness.

I have NTL. Used to have BT. They are both as crap as eachother. I hate them both.
