erm - can't think of one right now, but my current bugbear happens to be Madonna's Die Another Day as I don't think its the right song to be a James Bond theme

Current Fave Music Video
I was wondering what music video's people are fond of just now.
I think the new Pink video for the song 'Family Portrait' is brilliant and I also like the video for the Sugababes new tune 'Stronger' although it could be cos I really like the song. Madonna's 'Die Another Day' video is good as well.
So what do you lot think??

I agree about the Madonna one, to me it's just too pop to be Bond, especially after recent Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough, it's just not powerful.
For video, I actually can't think of a recent one I like, the closest I can think of is Hero for Spiderman. Oh Well

I'm a big fan of any of the New Found Glory vids, but currently I'd have to say it is a close choice between The Foos vid for 'All My Life' (Simple yet very energetic) or Papa Roach's vid of 'Time and Time Again' (Same kinda idea).
Although it will take something pretty major to beat my top 3.

At the moment, I have to say I love the Tenacious D, Tribute video. For a band that takes the pee, they are actually really good! I watched them on Johnathan Ross the other night and they were also really good live.

Emily by Bowling for Soup. I hate the fact that its played on the box though. I would prefer it if they were just a small band cos I like my bands that way.

been a bit cut off from current music vids of late i've been stuck with german mtv2 and another german channel for the last six months. not much on the hotel tv and david hasselhof is still on german music channels!!

"Drops of Jupiter" by Train was on VH-1 this morning.. made me very happy that did . Current favourite?.. can't say i have one just at the moment. Though i do like the new Craig David one

My favourite at the moment is "City of Angels" by the Distillers. I've only seen it on MTV2 twice so far as they're not very popular so I went and downloaded it on Kazaa.
As for stuff that's on TV a bit more frequently, probably "Night Vision" by Hell Is For Heroes, "Acrimony" by Jetplane Landing, "Cosmopolitan Blood Loss" by Glassjaw and did I see a new Hatebreed video on MTV2 the other day or was I imagining it?

I have to admit though, there aren't really many more. I find that a lot of the songs and bands i like haven't made videos because they're too underground. Even if they did make a homemade video it wouldn't be on tv. Oh i remember the days when BFS were like that

Definitely agree with you on this. I've only seen it the once, I was walking past a TV at work when it was on, and it just pulled me in and I had to stop to watch all of it. Very cool.

Aside from the current Shakira video, which I like for purely superficial reasons I'd have to go for the Big Bruva song which, even though it's a bit too hippety-hop for my taste, is just *fun* . The Madonna video is good, but I'm a little bit anti-torture at the moment so half the video grates a bit; and it's *so* not a Bond song.

one of my friends did subject me to Weird Al's 'Amish Paradise' last night and that was pretty cool. very funny video.
