Last CD you bought and next CD you want!

There seem to be a few good albums out recently (Foo Fighters, QOTSA etc), so what was the last CD you got?

Also, what do you want next?

I got two CDs the other day- an old Alkaline Trio album what was missing from my collection ("Maybe I'll Catch Fire"

, and a Vagrant Records compilation with some really good Emo songs on it (Hot Rod Circuit, Saves the Day, Dashboard Confessional, Get Up Kids, etc) and some Alkaline Trio too

Next I want the most recent Distillers album, "Sing Sing Death House", the Saves The Day albums (am I the last person ever to realise I like them?), the new Hot Rod Circuit album, and The Used's self titled one. I'd also like to get another copy of Alkaline Trio "From Here To Infirmary" to replace my scratched copy

Next CD, either the new saint Etienne album, or the new Lacuna Coil album. Depending on which I pick up first.

Problem with chill-out compilations is everyone jumped on the bandwagon right when chillout became huge, so most of them are pap. There are some good ones out there though.

Last CD: Zero 7 - Simple Things (I think)
Next CDs: One of the Lambchop CDs, and maybe Telepopmusik's "Genetic World"

I never seem to be able to buy just one CD. Usually, whether it's a trip to HMV (never Virgin) or just logging on to Amazon, I end up with a bill for at least Â£150. The last purchase I made was when I went to HMV to buy two CDs for friends' birthdays, and I promised myself that I would buy nothing else, just what I went in for. I would show restraint for a change.

So, on top of buying Jimmy Eat World's renamed 'Bleed American' and Doves' 'The Last Broadcast' I also walked out with:

Foo Fighters' 'One by One'
Jesus and Mary Chain's 'Stoned and Dethroned' and 'The Sound of Speed'

Which, for me, I do think counts as restraint...

As for what I want next, how long a list do you want? I think my Amazon wish list is about the 100 mark at the mo. Oh, let's just say the new Queen's of the Stone Age album to make life easy.

Although I do really want Jimmy Eat World's Static Prevails and Clarity. And I've been meaning to get a copy of Stevie Wonder's 'Innervisions' for a while. And I still haven't got a copy of the P.O.D. or lostprophets CDs yet. Then there's...

Well I lied about the next CD I was gonna buy cos I bought the Bonzo Dog Band's Cornology box set the other day!

I was gonna buy the Four Star Mary album as well, but the only place I could find it was HMV and it was Â£16!!! So I may have to trawl the net to get that.

Wow!! Might have to look for that on Amazon now! Though you've got the name wrong - tis the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band to purists!

I got it from HMV for Â£14.99. Not bad for 3 CD's containing all 5 of their albums and some other stuff. And it rocks!
