what do YOU do...

...when you are unbelievably BORED! at the moment I'm stuck indoors (due to virus, accident falling down stairs - lol yes im a dumb@$$ - and have nooo money) msn isn't working properly, I've watched every dvd in the house (cept maybe the yoga one

) I've been so bored I've even tried doing a website and gave up coz I'm stoooopid lol and I've read all my books and right now I'm considering tidying my room (it's like it's calling to me) I'm not looking for any sympathy or hugs (though hugs are always fun and welcome anyway) BUT I was just wondering what do YOU do when you are completely bored? and what do you do to aleviate(sp) it?

If I'm bored and I'm just sat doing nothing, I seem to have the uncanny knack of falling asleep. Bar that I'm one of the worlds worst for channel hopping (Kerrang seems to win a lot of the time though

See insomnia has kicked in in recent weeks thats part of the reason why im so bored and only got terrestial tv that doesnt like the aerial it has.

Lioness A stranger is simply a friend you haven't met yet.

I rarely get board as I've always got too much to do. My latest addiction is filling out surveys (NFO give free vouchers away each time you do one), or entering competitions.

At this point in time I have a hundred different things I could be doing including:

- writing emails
- ironing
- washing
- having a bath
- visiting friends
- visiting family
- catching up on my sewing projects
- decorating
- work
- sorting out papers
- working on my boards

Argh too much to do!

I find boredom only really strikes in pointless meetings/presentations. But the last time I had a major boredom outbreak was just after I finished my MBA and was still job hunting. I found Doom worked really well in those circumstances (God, really dating myself there...).

When i get bored, i usually just listen to music or do some writing. Or i'll update my website or just hang around posting boards (I.E. here)
since starting uni tho there's a lot of stuff to do. at the moment i have an essay to write, washing to do (which can really wait til tomorrow morning when the launderette is usually empty) and could probably do with going food shopping but that would involve getting a bus into town.

I go online, paint, sculpt, see whos up for going to the pub, go to the town, play my guitar, sing to people down the phone, read, admire beautiful women, try making dangerous weapons outta stuff, watch TV, bake a cake, exercise, sleep, do housework, study law, doodle, eat, talk to my fish, play my ps2, dance, sit and think.

In ordinary circumstances I'll call a friend I haven't spoken to in a while, surf the net, drive long distances for no particular reason, think about my life too much then make massive life-altering plans (and do nothing with them), give some time to Con costume ideas, go to the pub and all the usual stuff.

If I get really bored, I tend to go round and round in circles looking at different boards.
