Scottish Slang Words Explained

Here is something for all you that have wondered what the heck myself, Ethan and Milky have been saying sometimes.

I stumbled across this a few days ago and its had me in stitches with words I use regularly and those that I had completely forgotten about.

There are a few swear words in here just to be warned. Its meant to be Glaswegian slang but most of the words here are used in mose Scottish places.

So this goes out to Milky and Ethan

My Grandma, for some reason (none of my family are Scottish, to my knowledge) gets the annuals of The Broons and Oor Wullie, and I have to agree, they are pretty cool.

That is, when you figure out what they're saying...

Yvonne I was nothing more than an almost innocent bystander.

When Milky calls me, for some unknown reason the first thing he says is "What you saying?" He says it means "How are you?" or "What are you doing?" or something similar - but I'm unconvinced

The phrase "How no like?" Gets used a lot in this house

I honestly pity you putting up with him! He has a language all of his own sometimes that even I dont understand.

And I meant to say this before but your wee clown icon thingy never fails to creep me out.
