Same here. Though I'm thinking of changing. I hardly ever use all my free minutes but I do send a lot of texts. Trouble is I'm too lazy to go searching around for the best tariff for me.

I'm on Orange geezer. 50p per day (Paid monthly) And I get 50 free off-peak minutes per day.
What network are you on?
What it says...if you have a mobile phone what network do you use and is it PAYT or contract??
I'm on a Vodafone contract...£13 a month and I get 150 txts free and 600 off peak minutes to Vodafones or house numbers free.
And you?

A good thing if you want to be on Orange, they have the 'OVP' (Orange Value Promise..or something like that) Where if you see another tariff that suits you then Orange will match it. A big one they have is matching the Virgin costs, so much so they gave it it's own tarrif!
Before my phone packed in, I was on Orange PAYT, which was pretty expensive compared to O2 (BTCellnet at the time)
that I was on first. So when I get a new phone, I'll switch back. Plus my e-mail is with O2, so I'' be able to get my mail texted to my phone (I think...)!

Vodaphone. £26 a month gets me 100 free texts and 200 X-Net minutes (calls to any number ... mobile, landline or premium). I usually end up paying next to nothing over my rental charge each month
Orange Talk 150. Started off on Talk 60 but over the years, Orange have increased the inclusive minutes while keeping the tariff constant. 150 minutes is way in excess of what I actually need and I should switch down to a lower inclusive tariff plan.
Also signed up for GPRS and HSCSD. The HSCSD service is also unnecessary given I'm now using GPRS.
So, thanks to Milky for starting this thread. It's reminded me I'm giving money I don't need to to Orange...

but my dad is switching me to pay as you go soon as I spend so much on texts and don't use the minutes!

Well I'm vodaphone pay as you go, and I wouldn't have it any other way either. First they are the best network and second I'm crap at direct debit bills
Vodafone contractwith 500 minutes a month.
And ive got 1000 minutes at anyone time as no one ever wants to speak to me

Orange Talk 60.
It does what i need it to do, plus I mostly talk ot other people on Orange & people on land lines. I don't txt much.

Well the reason behind this thread was for me to find all the other Vodafone users on the board so that, if I have their number, I can waste my free minutes talking to them

If ya want me to fone ya and you're on Vodafone then e:mail your number to me...unlike Spike I don't sing
/me is amazed that his uni computer account still works
Oh yeah, back to the topic, I've just shuffled over to T-Mobile cos I wanted to change contracts to something with x-network minutes, but Orange wanted to charge me £31 a month line rental!
£15 a month, 200mins off-peak (6pm-7am)a month to any network, and a cheaper daytime rate than I had already.. I could have gone on the same contract with Orange OVP, but they didn't have the phone I wanted, and they lied to me when they were trying to keep my business, so off I shuffled
Oh yeah, I've got two phones for now until Orange send me my termination code so I can get my number swapped onto T-Mobile.. if you ring my old number it'll divert to my new one, but if you text it'll still go to the old one..
So don't be surprised if you get a text or call from a strange number (@Emmy )
I'll quit rambling now

Vodafone Leisure 600 number. 600 free minutes a month, but no free texts.
I've not phoned people in a while so I'm using up my roll-over minutes at the moment so if I have your land-line number or you are on vodafone don't be surprised if you get a random phone call.

I decided against trying to upgrade my phone and went out and bought a battery off the market instead as I think it'll work out cheaper in the longrun - it doesn't bother me about having a fancier, smaller phone blah blah blah
So for anyone trying to contact me last week - I FINALLY have power which means it should actually stay turned on now

Except they don't match everything. Most of my mobile bill costs go on SMS and orange don't match any text bundles or free text message deals so i've jsut changed over to O2 for the same contract with the same number of minutes for the same price only I get 50 free texts and pay a stupidly small amount for my text bundle

As for Vodaphone - The tariff i'm on is the same cost for three months and then goes up so it costs £20 more a month!!!!!!!!!! And they release handsets onto their network without conducting full tests and ironing out problems.
