Sirens

Ok can you tell the difference between police cars, amublances and fire engines, there is a distinctive difference isn't there? police cars go 'woo woo woo', fire engines go 'bee boo bee boo' and ambulances go 'nee nor nee nor' I jsut want some back up on this to prove Whistler wrong.

Okay, to give you some idea with what I had to put up with, Spike brought this up while we still had over two hours to go queueing up to see Avril in Virgin.

Ever had those moments where minutes seem like hours......?

gobstopper Eventually, I'll think of something witty to put here ;-)

Once upon a time, they were definitely different. Nowadays, the sirens seem to have a more generic sound.

Vinnie Just because you don't beleive in something, doesn't mean it's not true.

SPIKE is RIGHT!!

The three services do have different tones, but I can never tell which on is which and you can never tell where they are comming from until they suddenly appear.

I was readin this thread before and thinking, nah they all sound the same.

But about half an hour later within the space of 5 minutes, all three went past and lo and behold they all sounded different.
