As It's Been Ages.... Time For A T21 Baby Update!!

Jola's post in the "Update on Baby Ellie" made me think, it has been a while since we had an update post!!

So, here goes....

Hannah is now 21 months old (the time has flown by so quickly! ) Though, adjusted, she's 18 months old. She just had her final check up at the hospital and had a development check and she's passed with flying colours and been signed off from the hospital to boot!.

She's 27lbs 8lbs at the moment, walking, running, spinning, puts her hands on the floor and lifts up her bum so she can look at the world upside down, stomps and is trying to jump too. She's got just about all of her teeth (except the final four), she's got a fine head of curly dark blonde hair and huge blue eyes with long, long eyelashes. She's also got the cheekiest, most mischeivous grin i've ever seen.

She's always on the go, full of mischief and if there's trouble to be had, usually it's got her name on it!

She's not enrolled in a baby and toddler group yet, but on a waiting list. She loves books with big bright pictures in them, loves "Spot" books and is currently learning her colours. She can identify red and green and orange at the moment. She can count up to three too. She's developing a real sweet personality, loves "Hi-5" on Living Channel on Sky (never misses an episode,and knows all the names of the presenters). She also loves "Bear in the Big Blue House", "Barney", "Teletubbies" and "Tweenies". She likes music, she loves the Chilli's, Puddle of Mudd, Foo Fighters and Justin Timberlake. She's not as much of a dancer, more like a jigger..bobs up and down to the music, but she's getting better. She's a very affectionate, loving little girl and loves giving and receiving hugs and kisses.

She still eats pretty much anything we give her, likes apple juice, but needs a little persuasion to drink either plain water or milk.

She's a little chatterbox with it.. already saying two word sentences like "sit up","sit down", "yes please" "all gone", "daddy work","what's that" etc, which is supposed to be advanced for her age. She's also undergoing the "terrible two's" a whole three months early.. and she has a ferocious temper (as demonstrated this morning when she didn't want to go back into her pushchair after a riotious playtime in the Early Learning Centre where she screamed for ten minutes straight! )

Oh, and i have her booked in for her MMR on Monday December 9th.. eek!

So, that's Hannah at the moment, how are all the other T21 Babies ?

Awwww bless Hannah - she's coming on leaps and bounds

Georgia is now 19 months old, weighs 35lbs (2.5 stone) and is sooooo into everything.

She walks, runs, climbs (her new trick is to stand on the arm of the sofa and go da daaa!)

If you ask her to kick she raises a leg and *loves* wrestling with Daddy and watching the Karate classes and WWF on the telly. She doesn't bat an eyelid at being thrown about either. (Definitely a tomboy in the making!).

She loves singing and dancing - give her an audience and she'll perform

She's broken into the world of baby modelling - as some of you know and is cheeky, happy and mischevious. Temper tantrums galore when she doesn't get her own way and screams as if we're murdering her

She's an affectionate baby and gives kisses galore - she loves other children and animals too.

Her favourite telly is MTV, Tweenies, Fimbles, Pooh Bear, Smarteenies, Powerpuff Girls, Bear in the Big Blue House, Spot and Rolie Polie Olie

*Loves* her food and happily nicks ours off our plates as well. She's doing well in her swimming lessons and will be moving up a class in January *proud*

She talks quite well and says Hello and Bye Bye brilliantly. She can't quite string her words together in sentences but can tell us what things are in singular words. She understands us when we ask her questions and can point to various parts of the body. She loves eating books, so not quite mastered the art of reading them yet, but will from time to time look at the pictures nicely.

All in all a real contented and sociable baby

Ok well James will be two in January I can't believe how quicklt time flys, he is doing really well and has certainly learned a good few words and sentances he has the ability to be cute when needed and also how it can help him get away with things. He picks up so much from his brothers his favorite sayings at the mo being " Go Away " and " Shut up" and "leave me alone" lol

He loves kisses and cuddles and knows just when to use them to his best advantage, the only sad thing he really isn't a baby anymore

He's doing great! he's just over a month old now and he's so cuddlying and lovely. he's got 3 month colic tho, so he always has tummyaches

I found that Infacol worked a treat - a couple of drops with milk and it eased the windy pain

or cold, weak chamomile tea helps as well

Keenangel *Fourteen phonecalls a night??!!*

Infacol is very good for colic.. i always recommend it.. a couple of drops in baby's mouth before they're fed.. worked wonders with Joel, though Hannah never was colicky (she was very windy instead)

Great to see how the little 'uns are getting on.

God, I remember when Sange first announced she was pregnant. Keeny coming emailing me when HAnnah was born. And Jola telling us about Georgia.

Sunnydale_girl History repeats itself. It has to, nobody listens.

It's lovely to hear how well all the other babies are doing!

Well, Emily's nearly 14 months old - yep, it's so scary how fast it's gone! She's walking well and has just started running - no rest for me now. She is such a happy, smiley little thing and really quite placid, although tantrums do seem to be starting early! She's not particularly interested in eating, and I usually only manage to shovel a few mouthfuls of food into her at a mealtime, and then chase her around with bits of fruit for the rest of the day. In fact, the only things she eats with enthusiasm are fruit and chocolate - I can't think where she got her sweet tooth from!
She loves helping me out round the house and will sit and look at lift-the-flap books for ages. She can say "mama", "dada" "teddy" and "bye-bye" and is constantly gabbling on about something or other completely incomprehensibly!
She really enjoys going to all her different playgroups and I'm having a really interesting time with her as she learns the concept of sharing with other children!

Emily had quite bad colic, and it nearly drove me to despair. But it's true what they say about it only lasting 3 months - she changed almost overnight. Infacol seemed to work quite well, and then Gripe water when she was a bit older - but she was never really a happy baby until the 12 weeks had passed and the wind just seemed to disappear!

All in all, Emily is now a really happy, loving, cuddly little bunny and I never knew I could love anyone quite so much!

Awww, Babies, Bless them the more I read all these post about the other babies, the more I feel Liam is normal!,, Not that he isn't normal, but sometimes when he screams and I mean screeeaammms to get out of his buggy to wander alone through Tescos without my aid, the less I worry because it seemes you all go through the same type of scenario.
Well, Liam is now 14 months old, he can say 'dada' much to my disgust!!!, and pretty much grunts for anything else, he's beeen walking since about 10 months old so he's extremly steardy, and climbs alot, he screams when he can't have or can't do! Like put my plant pot mud into his mouth e.t.c, which is now all moved to a higher plane, Does anybody else have a completly EMPTY bottom display shelf!! incase said child eats your candles, ornaments e.t.c. apart from that we are having a great time, He loves winnie the pooh, Kylie, he adores, (A father trait) and pretty much all music really, all in all he's a lovely little boy, who I wish would stay this age forever, because he lavishes love on me and his daddy alot, and doesn't think twice about doing it either, he makes us smile every day, because every thing is new to him.

Not at all true, my domestic situation does not preclude me from posting anywhere, I just don't post here (I was directed here by a friend of mine who lurks).
