Reckon you'll be OK in time for Crimbo?

Well me and my bf were on way to see my mate. He was driving and I was on the phone to my dad. We were doing 55mph in a 60 zone. There was so much mud on the road that we skidded onto a verge, I just missed a telephone pole by a couple of feet. The last thing I remember was Matt swearing and us hitting some metal poles on a bridge. If the bridge wasn't there we would have dived into the river and flipped over. Probably not to survive. It was a horrifying experience. I think I blacked out and all I remember was him asking if I was ok then pulling me out of the car. We were very shaken. As I was still on the phone to my dad he came and found us. Matt and I were in shock and could not stop crying.

Because I was on the left side of the car I suffered the worse. The concrete poles and fencing had stuck my side very badly I automatically felt an abosoloutely blinding pain in my tummy and arm. Dad took me to casualty where my mum was waiting for me with my childhood blanket. I limped in and my sister and her boyfriend gave me huge hugs. I was seen quite quickly but had to wait for two hours to see a doctor. The hospital bed was really uncomfortable. And I wasn't allowed to drink or eat anything. I was in agony. I saw three doctors and was going to have to be admitted. But they discharged me just before midnight. I didn't get to bed till 1ish and even then I slept very badly. I was given some pain killers.

Woke up at 11 this morning with a killer neckache. So I have trouble breathing cos my stomach was hit and I have wiplash too. Anyways, no broken bones, just internal bruising. Also a few bruises on my arm. Matt however walked away with no bruises, cuts or whiplash!

The day off school today was bliss just relaxing and I have to walk pretty slowly cos of my pain and I'm on ibuprofen and paracetemol.

More *huggles* hun - that sounds truly terrifying! I'm just really glad to hear that neither you nor Matt are too badly hurt though!

Glad to hear you didnt suffer too bad, it could have been a whole lot worse and you were probably lucky to get away with what you did.

Reminds me of when i'd had my company car for about two weeks, and I slid it off a bend...ooops. As you can imagine my boss wasn't amused.

Definetly was glad to walk away. Still battered and bruised, got whip lash and internal bruises. I've been finding it painful to laugh cos my ribs are in pain!

And when I was away a father christmas smiley popped up, tis very cute
