But after a quick search have found that it's something to do with pretend guns. Didn't read the pages 'tho.

Nah, not me.
I've got a couple of air guns, but never been into airsoft.
I like to be able to hit the target I'm aming at
. All the airsoft stuff I've seen has been pretty innacurate.

I know what you are talking about Ming but I am not into it. I have seen a couple of really great looking guns & even fired one of those little china-looking ball things into a curtain but that is as far as it goes.
I do know someone who is into airsoft, is in a team & does 'play' (if that is the right term to use) against other teams His name is Vampire-Tigger

Hiya Ming, e-mail me if Team Sheep setup another private game at Sopley. I am a bit inactive myself just now due to working night but The Wolf Pack want to test out their blank firing grenades

Cheers. Can't see Team Sheep mobilising again before the new year though (we're not into re-enacting Moscow '41 or the Winter War!).
Main reason I asked is that I'd noticed a fair few airsofts/replicas showing up at cons as part of costumes and was curious as to whether people were getting them just as costume props or if they also went skirmishing.
Must confess, the first airsoft I ever bought was a springer Sig Sauer, simply because it was listed in a FAQ as one of the handguns used on the X-Files!

Gimme a yell, there is a new site that you may be interested in. All-day non-stop gaming in the same manner as SWAT this year, but will be running atleast twice a week. The Zero One team now has it's own site!
