Anyway, I don't see a problem with age if both people in the situation don't have a problem with it either. To hell with what other people think!!

But she does have a boyfriend, I lay off for a bit if I were you!! keep my distance until she makes up her mind about stuff, I mean what if she ends up wanting you both?? You'll be in a right mess then, and she might chaet on you!!

Well i'd take her out tonight while you've promised but get a clear idea from her what the situation is!! She might have other ideas!! In the long run I don't think it's a good idea honey!!

1) She told you she was 17 when in fact she's over a year younger.

2) Being 15, she is a minor.

3) She already has a boyfriend.

4) If she's willing to cheat on him, then she's willing to cheat on you.

5) Said boyfriend is about 9 years older than her.

Put all that together, I think you already know the answer. In fact, didn't a few of us tell you you were playing with fire at the weekend?

Do yourself a favour and steer clear!!

If she was 16, and didn't have a boyfriend, i'd say it was fine.

But otherwise Spike, I'd say it would be best just to stay mates with her until she has grown up a bit (grown up in more than one way)

well shes not cheating on her boyfriend, she wants to get rid of him and its not cheating unless i'm seeing her which i'm not. there is this other girl though who is actually 17 who i emt sunday shes really nice but i dunno if she likes me or not.

I would *never* date anyone under 18 at the moment (I'm 24) as I feel that someone younger than 18 wants different things from a relationship than what I want. Also it's a bit awkward as legally they can't drink so your oppurtunitys to socialise together are seriously jeapourdised(Most of the places I go out to are over 18's only).

From the sounds of this Spike I'd steer well clear mate...

When I met my current boyfriend I was 14 and he was 17. The thing is it was my 15th birthday a few weeks later. When I told him it was my birthday he thought it would be my 16th. Oops! Didn't put him right until we officially started dating. He got a lot of flack from his friends cos I was considered so young. He was in year 12, me year 10. They teased him and his parents disaprove, and they still physically *hate* me as they say. But the thing is his mate who always used to tease him actually has recently going out with a girl who is the same year as me. So to him. Hypocrite! Matt and I are still going strong. He's now 18 and I'm 15 bit of an age gap but I'm ok with it and so's he. His parent's claim I make him immature cos of my age though.

Next year I'll be 16 but a few months after he'll be 19. But I hope we will still be together.

My dad was 10 years older than my mum and they ended in a terrible divorce after 17 years together. But my friend's dad is 20 years older than her mum and they're still going strong. I guess it depends on the person.

I couldn't stand her up, that'd be mean. Anyway you guys are right shes way too young, i'm happy to be mates with her but I felt well dodgy, i think 16 is too young too so i'm not waiting. She seemed nice enough but theres quite a bit of a gap and it really didn't feel right, plus what Milky was saying about pubs, ok she can get in them but she had to be picked up at 11 by her mum and we had to miss the end of the film. I am glad i went thoguh as i now know for sure that i prefer the older woman, well at least 17 anyway.

Spike, I assume from T having to pretend to be your girlfriend (and I thought you liked younger girls Spike ) that all is not well. If you wanna be friends with the girl then continue being friends, but Whist has listed all the reasons you should be wary of anything more. Be careful, or one of these days you will end up with an unnecessary bruised heart
