Poor thing *hugs*

We've all been there there. At least you managed to keep your clothes on (hopefully ) I find the best thing to do is laugh it off. Admit you were a drunken mess, pretend you don't care, pray there were no photos (if Yvonne was with you you have to bribe her to delete photos ) and vow *never* to drink again. I do it most weekends - hee hee

Yep, I've done it too I'm afraid At one of my Christmas do's this year I made a complete and utter idiot of myself It was 3 weeks ago now, and my work mates still insist on winding me up about it

It is embarrasing, but put it down to experience and vow never to drink again thats what I did

Hey, I wouldn't worry about it. The fact is that it happens to us all at some point - even to those who swore that they wouldn't ever drink (mentioning no names ) Sure, you'll be the object of relentless derision for the next few months but only because "there but by the grace of god..."

Take T's advice and laugh it off. After all, she's got lots of experience of drinking too much... falling off cars... getting thrown out of gigs...

I've made an arse of myself, both sober and drunk, that I beginning to just not care anymore. Well, not really, but I like to tell myself that Me making a fool of myself = doing the actual Cheeky Girls dance with a friend and getting people edging a way scared. Not that bad, but I was very sober Tragic really....especially since I had to round up three very drunk girls (who were actually constantly walking off in different directions) and get them home. And these girls were losing there clothes!

Been there done that *eek*

The one time I got really bad though was at my friends 18th (I was about 16 at the time) I got soooo drunk I stripped to my undies and danced with a curtain

Well, that beats my stripping on a table at a mate's Stag Night a couple of years ago (the stripper didn't turn up and I was his "Best Man" There were photos of that going around for months, I might still have a few hiding somewhere myself

we had our christmas night out on friday and i spent all of yesterday feeling worse for wear and thats an understatement!!

the only plus thing was, depsite being totally wasted myself, i felt quite superior as i was the least drunk of everyone, who were all pretty much paralytic - makes a change! hehe

i did do some stupid things though, like introduce myself to everyone i met lol but all in all nothing too cringe worthy....i can think of worse times!!

Heh. Christmas parties definitely wouldn't be the same without some excessive behaviour. Our last two office Christmas parties have been pretty memorable for (other people's) excesses.

2001: we had a Pop Idols theme to the party. One of the partners turned up dressed as Cher. He (yes, you read that right!) got utterly wasted and woke up face down, still dressed as Cher, somewhere on Marylebone High Street. He also missed the presentation we were supposed to be making the next morning!

2002: No theme this year but one of the senior managers' wallet was found in a toilet. Somewhat soiled. I don't know who retrieved it because I bloody well wouldn't have done it.

At least you passed out due to alcohol, Barbara, so a good time was had in there somewhere.

I passed out earlier this afternoon due to having had too hot a bath and i broke my fall with my chin
I look a bit alarming and my jaw hurts enormously. Soup for tea methinks. I'm really not very together at the moment.

Just be glad you didn't take truckloads of absinthe and ... "other substances" Barbara. Can lead to a very interesting festive experiance let me tell you!

(Tip: Never, ever try to light multiple glasses of absinthe when already rat-faced and wearing a flowing dress ...)

Not feeling too bad, I'm even off to the cinema now to exchange coats!

My one was the other week, and a lot of it was a case of company credit cards flashing about. The real hysterics began when the night was coming to an end and we all went upstairs to our rooms for the party there.

After some shenanigans, I ended up being chased down the hall with my boss (Who was wearing a wig at the time), by the hotel security. Hammered my head against a table in my room and had a lump for a few days later, and came home with a near full bottle of vodka (That I didn't take into the place with me)

Some good times...

Just gotta love the stuff we get up to when drunk, Im not ashamed, its all part of the fun!

I'm a terrible flirt when drunk and usually have my hands all over anyone in a skirt! Honestly, it usually takes someone to point out to me that while im talking to someone I have my hand on her bum. This is not usually too bad (Kelly is very understanding), but even so the amount of flirting I did at my engagment do in front of all mine and kelly's family was embarrasing looking back!

At our christmas party last night I slapped one girls bum in front of her boyfriend..oops

Anyhoo, my alltime xmas messup was my first company christmas do with free beer. Had two pints of bitter before the meal, had several glasses of wine during the meal, then had around 5 quadruple whiskys (I was talking to a girl who didnt drink - every time we got handed a double whisky, she poured hers into mine) and two tequila slammers.

It was about 11.30pm at that point. I wandered down a corridor with a friend because we said we were going to catch a taxi home. Half way down the corridor I fell down, and my memory goes blank. My next memory is being in a completely different part of the hotel about 4 hours later. I was on some steps leading to a fire door at the back of the hotel. I tried to walk down the steps, fell down an entire flight, smacked my head at the bottom and knocked myself unconcious. I woke up at 8.30 covered in my own sick (in a hired tuxedo), and was due in at work at 9am.

I then had to get a taxi home from Manchester, which was no mean feat seeing as the taxi driver didnt really want to take me cos

a) I was covered in sick and stunk
b) I had no money, only my cash card and a promise we'd visit a bank machine on the way

During the journey, the taxi driver made it clear to me that if I 'did a runner' when I went to the cash machine that he'd catch me and beat the crap out of me. Niiice.

It wasn't exactly a Christmas do but at the last night out before the holidays pretty much everyone was in the local club...I'm not repeating everything cause it's long and boring but I got shoved in the back by a guy who's...something of an idiot...next thing I look up and I see one of my very good mates who is bleeding from the mouth (I crashed into him). So I do the only thing it seems reasonable to do at that point, I turn around and punch the idiot guy in the...uh...goolies (in my slight defence he *was* standing at the top of 3 steps so the height was about right)

Yeah I fight dirty

(Turns out it wasn't my fault the guy's lip was busted open anyway but ho hum )

I was still hungover at 2 in the afternoon the next day
