I've scoured the schedules and can't seem to find anything good on the TV this Christmas. Anyone else have any luck?

Nope.. though i did watch James Van Praagh on Living this evening (another medium, very interesting to watch)
I've spent the last couple of hours watching Lee Evan's latest stand up release on DVD.. i saw him live earlier in the year, and it brought back a lot of memories, and was very funny
Ray is now watching one of his "Auf Wiedersehen Pet" DVD's.

I personally love Only Fools and Horses, but I can see why you think its boring - I think you need to have a certain sense of humour...although I'm not usre if I'd go as far as to say it was awful...
I watched The Mummy last night - I love that film! I thought that the BBC had some good films lined up for the next few days, just not a lot on xmas day itself

Nothing at all worth watching today!
For the first time in ever we rented dvds out.
But tonight (Boxing Day) the Hound of the Baskervilles is on so we'll probably watch that.

I've already watched It's A Wonderful Life last weekend on video. It's just typical of the schedulers to put it on Christmas Day coz it should always be shown on Christmas Eve. Just not the same on the big day itself.
Having said that, the TV this year is pants! I remember years ago getting really excited about getting the Christmas Radio Times and seeing what was on. But I think the advent of satellite/cable TV, videos and DVDs has largely killed that off.
To prove the point, I'll be spending a few hours going through all the extras on my Attack Of The Clones DVD today!

its well funny! Ok the last 2 have not been great but they still make me laugh.

Well i've been really disappointed with the xmas films this year too. I was looking forward to hound of the baskervilles tho. i thought it was good if a little easy to figure out but did anyone else find Holmes shooting up a bit unnecessary. I know I did. I thought it was going to have some importance, like the answer to the case would come to him well he was high, like Jonny depps character in "From hell". But as far as i could see it was completely unnecessary?

The majority of it this year was absolute crap. The only thing that remotely looked worth it was OFAH, and sadly I missed it until the last 10 minutes...
