Paper Cuts

why are paper cuts so dangerous? I mean I nearly lsot a finger the other week jsut cuz of a piece of paper. I think paper should be made with safe edges some how so you don't get cut, cuz they can be well painful

Me thinks you should try getting a job in a printers, did that one summer, printing safeways posters, got papercuts everywhere.

They are very soft so i've been told. Maybe its all that vaseline.

i just find it odd that paper cuts hurt like hell yet big things don't. well in my experiance anyway. seriously i got hit by a car once (well i have a few times, should realy look where i'm going) anyway and that didn't hurt much yet paper cuts practically reduce me too tears (wuss i know) strange!

Well, it was more of a paper scratch, but that really hurt.

i got hit by a car once (well i have a few times, should realy look where i'm going) anyway and that didn't hurt much

yeah I know, when i got hit by a car i didn't feel a thing yet found myself on the floor thinking, whats going on. It did hurt the next day though as i had a big black bruise the size of a big cake on my backside.

I'll bet it did! And on the subject of paper being dangerous, due to the continous exposure to what is obviously dangerous to people, shouldn't College students get hazard pay?

Yeah paper does hurt, but I can beat you all on the car: once when walking to school one of those big volvos with the roof racks jutting out sideways came past. being tall the roofrack hit me in the side of the neck almost decapitating me, that wasn't the end of things though: as my head jerked to the side the roof rack followed through and caught me first under the chin and then under my ear, and yet paper cuts still hurt more, but the worst are grass cuts.

I hate paper cuts too. Especially when your doing revision and then ow your hit by one. I scratched my eye with a plastic carrier bag and couldn't see for 2 days!

Argh! I've had a hook scratch right across my eye leaving me blind in it for a day, but that still makes me cringe more! Really, what is it with paper cuts?

Oh and completely off topic, isn't it so cool when Bill in Gangs of New York is just tapping his glass eye? Wouldn't you just love to do that?
