This morning I just thought I'd be falling out of bed, getting ready and going to work. The the doorbell rung unexpectedly at 8.45am

Two days ago we had a landlord note through the door saying the front doors were due to be painted *somewhere* in the next 6-8 weeks - I didn't pay much attention as I figured that everything else (like the windows) ended up happening at the back of those guidelines.

So he turns up today and off course wants the door leaving open to paint it (as you do) Not thinking of course I let him start painting it then realised as a dope that it wouldn't be dry before work so I've had to ring them and apologise but I wouldn't be in till lunchtime when hubby gets home

Now I've realised how much I hate the smell of fresh paint!! It always gives me a headache from the fumes. When I was living at home I'd go stay at my nan's if my parents were ever painting.

So does anyone here like the smell? (if so come housesit for me for 2 hours )
