The Lone Mug.

Why is it that just as you finish the washing up, you always find another mug?

Because if there wasn't then that would come under the 'Life is fair' catagory...& we couldn't have any of that

It's worse when you find a pan that you put back into the oven & forgot it was there, but you stupidly look to see if there's anything left you need to wash up while you're at it

Yvonne I was nothing more than an almost innocent bystander.

You need the last mug, otherwise that teaspoon hiding at the bottom of the sink when you let the water out would have no-one to play with

Because the laws of physics were entrusted to some sod with a down right nasty sense of humour (I'm dropping no names here *cough*Murphy*cough*) who decided that such an inevitable occurrence would come into existence...
