Valentines Day!! :-&
Ok, a little early I know, but I thought I'd start to spread the love in advance!! 
So I just wondered what everyone was doing for valentines this year?? Are you sending a card to a certain someone special?? Spending the day with a loved one?? Or just ignoring all the happy couples??
Anyone got any views on Valentines?? My boyfriend is reluctant to celebrate a day of a saint that was suposed to be a murderer apparantly?? So we've decided that it's just for us and not about a tradition enforced by companies to sell stuff!!
Anyway, I'm having the age old problem of what to get a guy for valentines!! I've never had to think about it before!! It's easy to buy for women, flowers, chocolates, teddy bear etc..........Any ideas?? the best one I've got so far is a compolation tape of songs that are kinda special, you know the sort!!

I got one of these 'guess who' cards in my inbox too!! Wonder who it could be?? 
Anyway, I've finally decided what I'm getting the boyfriend, found it on the net last night, it's a silver arrow, about 35cm long, but the head of it can be removed to reveal a secret compartment that you can put a secret message in and I've got the perfect poem to put on it: He wishes for the cloths of heaven by W.B. Yeats!!
And, I made my own valentines card with a picture of Freya, Norse Goddess of love on the front and another nice poem I found by Percy Bysshe Shelley inside:
The fountains mingle with the river
And the rivers with the ocean,
The winds of heaven mix for ever
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single,
All things by law devine
In one another's being mingle -
Why not I with thine?
See the mountains kiss high heaven
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister-flower would be forgiven
If it disdain'd its brother:
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea -
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?

Valentines, the time you remember the mess ups, being single, the people you dumped, then fell for two late, wishing next valentines would be with someone. Getting annominous e-valentines, trying to figure out if any were serious, getting valentines from ex's particulary if you wish they were not exes.
