I think there should be - Lucas wont rest until all 9 stories that were sketched out are realised. Lets face it, the man is a fanatic, Star Wars is his lifes work.

Im just waiting for all 6 to be on DVD first, so that I can have a monster 6 movie marathon at our house!

Frankly, I don't think there should have been a second.

I was raised on the original trilogy & it kinda spoiled all my memories of it when he released the re-mastered version, then he did the new trilogy...
They weren't even good films on their own, never mind with a back, or should that be a forward, story to tell/compete with.

Agreed.

The Star Wars story won't be complete until all 9 episodes are made.

Lucas will probably do them fairly soon after only say a 5-10 year wait, after all the guy is getting kinda old.

I'm torn between the yes and no on this one

Whilst I've really realy enjoyed the Episode 1 and 2 films, I haven't got that deep love for them that I have for the first trilogy. I have high hopes for Episode 3 but I fear that there's just too much left to cram into one film to make the current films true classics.

If Lucas is on a roll and 3 is better than 2, and then the next trilogy is as good as I hope Episode 3 will be then yes, go for it George

But if he's not got the masterpiece of an ending that the trilogy of trilogies will require, then I think it perhaps best if the audience are forever left wanting more.

I waited well over a decade for the prequals and I won't rest until all 9 are done. If I have to go over to the Skywalker ranch and kidnap him, then tie him up in a remote hidaway until they're written, well, then I can't be held responsible for my actions by any court.

Especially if they don't catch me...

I've waited most of my life for the trilogy of trilogies to be made, and no one will stop me...

Frankly, I don't know why this question even exists!! I was 7 when I see Star Wars, and for some of us it's what is natural, Off course this story should be finished! Period!!!!

Only if they can clone Lucas...
