I don't work there any more but I used to work in a department store. I hated getting really snooty customers, who thought they could get away with anything, or people who talk to you like you're a pice of dirt. One woman started talking to me like I was her pet poodle or something! It really used to get on my nerves
What annoys you at work?
what at work really annoys you and is oftn down to another person their that makes your job more difficult. I know i barely lift a finger at work but what annoys me is people who get a full cup of coffee then through it away cuz i empty a bin adn splash all over me grrrr Also people who throw staples on the floor and not in the bin, is it so much more effort? cuz then the staples don't hoover up off the floor and i have to pick them outta the carpet by hand grrrr

Oooh..I could sit here all night
Customers who talk to you like dirt
Customers that ask you really stupid questions such as "Is
that really buy one get one free son?" when there's a massive 6ft poster next to the product saying Buy One Get One Free on it....nah course not we just thought that poster looked better than the wallpaper
The fact I don't get paid enough...people doing my job for different companys make almost double what I do
The fact I do a lot of other peoples work yet get no credit for it
The attitudes of some of the other staff
The general stupidness of the management team...they try and tell you your job but they haven't got a clue and when you point out where they're going wrong they go in the huff
Will probably think of more later

People who borrow your things and then don't return them. Then when you need them you have to go running round the building looking for them.
Also people who assume they know more about you that you do in that they think they know what you should want to do then ignore you when you say you don't want to do that. The annoyance is increased massively when they come back with "Well *I* would want to do that"
People who assume that you sit at a desk all day and get snooty when you don't call them back at 11am like the message they left for you said you should.

On going bugbear at our place is the french hq going through phases of reconfiguring our english server without telling us. Getting in on a Monday morning to find that several important programmes like your email and printers don't work because of it. And then having them say "well that configuration shouldn't have altered anything" Then expect you to come up with a solution when there's 5 of them in their own computer department (I don't get paid to do their work )
Customers who give you one machine number and then after you've spent the whole day trying to figure out why X isn't right on their machine go "oh sorry we gave you the wrong machine number ... its Z"
Actually that's a little unfair, I like most of our customers. Although it still surprises me when a factory doesn't own one screwdriver

I hate people who think they're cleverer than they are. I've been working as a Mortgage Operations Assistant for Nationwide since August and have learned more about the "exciting" world of mortgages and interest rates in the last 7 months than your average layman would pick up in a lifetime, or Branch Manager it would appear
I swear they pick up any idiot wearing a suit, give him the job and our phone number and leave them to it We get the dumbest calls from some of our Branches.
The customers are even worse, for example one *expletive deleted* that I'm dealing with at the moment. I can't even stand the sound of his name! He's convinced that he knows more about how mortgages work than Nationwide and rather than accepting and trying to understand the procedures and calculations that we use, he insists on arguing the point and looking like an arse!
*Frustrated scream*
Oh, that feels all better again

Customers mainly (I know they're not all of them bad, but some defy belief).
Example:
Me: Is it a Disclosure or an enquiry?
Cust: Yes
Me: Can I take your first name?
Cust: Joe John Bloggs
Then there's the REALLY annoying ones when you ask them at the start of the call if the application is for them, and they say yes. Then when it's complete and you tell them they will receive their form in the next 5-7 days, they pipe up, oh it was actually for my mum/son/wife...

Annoys me when theres lack of communication like today. Got in at 4.50am to be told my shift had changed. Thats the 4th week running. Not so bad when i get some notice, but to be told 2 days into the week is just plain stupid.
Oh well, at least it's nearly friday

well not at work but at school
Generally, it's people i don't get on with and annoy me and are my age. I think of myself as being very difficult to get on with (especially people my age, although i'm good friends with Linz, Cat, Acker etc from here)
What annoys me is a lot of the screeching and annoyingness....but also that i work so damn hard for the grades i get but then i see people who hardly do any work and mess around but get the same
Also, when one of my mates does well i'm really supportive because i am geniunely pleased for them. But when i do well or if they do better than me, i get a nasty comment from them which upsets me Then again, it could because i'm difficult

I work as a childminder for 3 kids, the kids are aged 5, 3 and 1. I adore my job as I'm well paid and work up to 3 days a week because I only do 4 days of lessons a week at my centre. I don't really get frustrated or annoyed but sometimes I can be so rushed off my feet looking after all of them as they all need constant attention especially the 1 year old. Thank god the family have locks on the kids bedroom doors as the house is so big they could all run around and I'd loose them.
I think one of the things that only gets on my nerves a tad is when I have the kids settled for a nap and mummy or daddy comes to see them and then they start crying. It looks like I've done something wrong, other than always having to clear up poo I adore my job.

Well my job annoyed me a little less today. The idiot customers were still there, but I got a 5.3% payrise for being brilliant and that's on top of and unconnected to my appraisal due next month *g*
And tomorrow night all of us overtime peeps are getting FREE PIZZA!!
I love Nationwide
*bounce bounce bounce*
NB. My mood towards my job will change by the end of the week.

Would it annoy you to know that this is the 2nd pay rise I've had since I started in August 2002 and I'm not on almost 9% more than my starting salary? I guess they appreciate brilliance
That is rather annoying Y
However rather than regular payrises, we get chocolate mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Today we were presented with a huuuuuuuuuge chocolate cake as a word of thanks for a hard week last week.
Damn that pesky diet
