I had seen this advertised but to be honest it hadn't even clicked it was April Fools Day

I cant watch it as I'm busy on Tuesday so let us know on here if it's all one big joke, okay?

I'm drunk right now so I may be wrong, but I'm sure they did an April Fools one before and people thought it was real and the BBC/ITV had to apologise 'cos so many people freaked out by it.

Yvonne has just said that I'm right and it involved someone under the stairs but she is drunk too - hahahahaha

Yup, BBC's GhostWatch Live, with Sarah Greene and Michael Parkinson.. it ended up with Parky getting posessed lol

I thought that was Ghostwatch or whatever it was on ITV one Halloween several years ago??.. can't remember...

I'll probably be watching the Most Haunted live, but on the hour later channel as i'll be watching CSI on Five and Mishelisa, i saw the Halloween one and i'm sure i saw someone kneeling down and praying in the undercroft of Dudley Castle right at the end of the show, i felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up on end, i was completely freaked

i used to watch this show every week without fail but i just seem to have lost interest in it now, well that and my dad has the sky in his room (mean hogger) but doesnt April fool's finish at 12 (anal much? maybe) the MH crew are usually quite serious about their investigations so you're only gonna find if it's a hoax by watching I personally will be watching CSI. (my name's EvilWillow and i'm a CSI addict )

(wish i'd seen the ghostwatch spoof though sounds like it was a giggle.)

I ususally just take the mick out of it. Especially Derek Pakora's voice.

oh i adore most haunted so ill definatly be watching it, didnt click its april fools but then most haunted is always on a tuesday so it could just be coincidence. well see oh and i love Derek Acora! he's great and a very genuine man.

I'll definately be watching it, but on +1 like Keeny (yes, I too love CSI Maybe we should start a support group for CSI addiction ). I feel really sorry for poor Yvette - she always looks so terrified!

According to the adverts on Living TV, tonight's Most Haunted is a precursor to a new series!!... hurrah!!!

just watched one of my fav shows-most haunted which tonight came live from The Midland grand Hotel in central London, also known as St Pancras! i never knew it used to be a hotel, always loved its architechture and would love to see inside, well i got the chance tonight and gods i wish it was open to the puiblic, its gorgeous, all victorian gothic design!
anyway as usual the show had it team of investigators looking round the areas of the hotel, but this time they also had members of the public watching either inside the hotel or at home via webcams. And they always have my fav person Derreck Acora, their spirit medium. it was a good show with lots of cool info about events that happened in that hotel and the land under it, from roman setlements, medieval graveyards and victorian secrets!
they also did some tests including doing a past life regression on a member of the audience. this was the only part of the show i wasnt too sure of, only because the 'life' the person came up with was Queen Boudicca, or Boudica (as i will explain) now there was a connection to boudica with the area as it was reported north london is where a great battle between romans and celts was fought and its reputed there is where the queens body lies, But my problem was with the name. in a past life regression isnt it supposed to be the memories of the past life coming back to the living person, and if such shouldnt the person regressing pronounce the name properly? i say this because Boudiccia is a anglosaxon bastardisation of the name Boudica the celtic name for the queen and the name the real queen would have used. if this woman was regressing to her life as the queen she would have pronounced her name correctly. just a niggle there. I have had the experience of past life regression and all my past lives were interesting and close to me, but not famous people. Why is it so many people say in a past life they were famous people? i think i would have believed a lot more if the lady had said she was a servant of Boudica or a roman soldier, but no ancient celebrities!!
Apart from that all the other info was correct as they had a historian jumping round and agreeing with what Derreck was saying, i love that part where things derreck pulls from spirits is coroberated by facts!!
cant wait for the new series to begin next week, and they made it into an hour show now. first stop is Brannigans in manchester, and it seems derreck is taken over by the spirit of the minister whose none to happy his church is now a bar!! looks great!

nemesis: I sat and watched it last night (CSI, for some reason, was a repeat), and it was all interesting stuff. I too was sceptical about the past life regression. Why she didn't pronounce the name as Boudicca instead of Bodicea, the fact that she just happened to be someone famous in a past life, with a connection to the hotel (probably the whole reason she was there in the first place)and that her voice didn't change, it was still that soft Scottish brogue.. highly questionable. I didn't see it right til the end, but it was interesting.. but next week's show looks amazing.. can't wait

I'm definately watching that one next week from Brannigans in Manchester, it looked really good, looks like derek gets sort of possesed, and Yvette looks really freaked out.

I kept thinking she didn't fall she was pushed all the way through the stairway thing, then the medium said he thought she may have been pushed because she was pregnant illicitly, it sorts of plays on you mind when your thinking it, then they confirm it doesn't it. You begin to wonder whats happening is it mind tricks or not??

Going back to original post though, I don't think it was a April Fool joke, it would ruin the shows credibility, surely and it has such a following now.

Two million people apparently watched it last night. That's quite a following.

When the white noise experiment was underway, i kept hearing "away, away" and i thought it was eerie when more than one person said they'd heard "leave"

And the ghosts of St. Pancras?, a lot of people reported the name "Patrick", which, personally i thought, because of St Pancras, people would think of Patrick.. my opinion though

Oh yeah, and Derek was pretty frightening in the trailer for next week's ep, i was a little wigged out watching him. It's on for an hour, should be fun

I know this is gonna go against the grain, but from what I saw of it, alot of it was tosh. Nothing like the individual programes they do. Far too many breaks, and too much 'going back to the front end' so to speak with the main presenter.

Sorry, but I didn't buy a bit of it. Ended up taking the mick out of Derek Pakora a load though.

It annoyed me when they said, lets turn out the lights but they would just switch the camera to black and white, you could tell because the first time they did it Yvettes little camera was still colour and it was still really light!!

Id love to know about my spirit guide, I want to see Derek, hes so cool hehe He freaks me out when he gets all possessed though
