I didn't realise there were more than 2 teams in Scotland
Battle Of Britain Pt 3
"As part of their centenary celebrations Aberdeen Football Club have announced that they will play a friendly against FA Cup Finalists Southampton on 20th May at Pittodrie Stadium. Southampton Manager, ex-Dons player and AFC100 Legend Gordon Strachan, is bringing his team north of the border to play in the 'Friendship Cup' which celebrates the special relationship shared between the two Clubs."
Go on the Dons!! I reckon we're going to gub them 3-0
Fancy a trip to 'Todders to see your team get hammered Whistler

Two trophies in the space of four days.
Cool! I'll have some of that!!

I didn't realise there was only one decent team in Liverpool...till I saw the guys who play in red get gubbed by a Celtic team who couldn't even beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3 days later. Guessing blue really is the colour of the Mersey these days

A friendly wager may well be on the cards...according to the OPTA stats for last month we've got the best midfielder in Scotland playing for us now...Sheerin for Scotland

More of a fluorescent green actually. Certainly nothing you'd want to be swimming in

Just count those European cups!
Yeah, okay, seeing as I won the one against Miss Edith.

Hmmmm, not sure about the britney thing, but still
Anyway, as an aside, particularly pleasing to see Tottenham's European dreams being delivered a hammer blow at the hands of Man City this afternoon. Can't help but smile that Glenn Hoddle walked out on Saints to manage Spurs. They've yet to qualify for Europe since he's been there while Saints play in the UEFA Cup next season.
What goes around, comes around, Glenn. Think about that when you next see your faith healer

Aww, poor Glenn.
Also a shame to see Trevor Francis, the happiest man in football, leaving Palace today. No doubt it'll give him more time to bring his special brand of joy to Sky Sports though

And Whistler, two trophies in four days, optimistic much?? I think the FA Cup will be staying safely in London for another year, but hey, i don't mind being proved wrong Good luck to the both of them
I'd be very surprised if even 50% of the team that plays in the Cup Final shows up...and even then they're not gonna give it much :s
But Saints Reserves playing at half speed against Aberdeen?

I still say away win
Oh, and Keeny, hun, we were massive underdogs when we played Man Utd in '76. We were in the Second Divsion and Man U were in the First.
And then Bobby Stokes happened.
I'm not guaranteeing victory but Arsenal write us off at their peril.
And an omen they should be aware of. We played in yellow and blue in '76 against Man U.
Guess what colours we're playing in on May 17th?

Here's how to spot the FA Cup Winner... at the end of the game one team will have scored more goals, and that's how you know who won.

Then again, maybe it's just that I can't remember what it is like to hope your team will win on match day.
You don't say?? And here was I thinking that it was all divine intervention.
