Away for a few days...
Tomorrow, weather permitting (please let it be like the last few days), I'll be one of a group of 8 heading off on our annual motorbike jaunt.
This year it's to Mid Wales (some place called Llandrindod Wells) and by the look of the road map the roads in that area should be a lot of fun. No mechanical hiccoughs this time, I have just finished checking, oiling, cleaning the old girl and she's running just fine this time around.
All things being well, I'll be back on Wednesday.

Having returned from 5 days during which 10 hours or so each day is spent with my heels tucked under my rear (or so it seemed), I am currently nursing a body which hurts in places I didn't think I had and wondering why the hell I do this.
But, the Welsh roads were fantastic and the weather on the whole was superb (the only downside of wearing leathers and a crash helmet all day was the fact that the only bit of my body which was exposed was the back of my neck) and we all returned in one piece.
So yes, a good time was had.
