Secondhand bookshops? I visit 2 quite regularly & they often have books that I've been looking for but can't find in the normal shops.

Ive had a look at a few aussie sites (its a aussie book if Im correct) and can only find the dvd/video for it.

You could try at the libary to see if they can find it if you are just wanting to read it, or even make them an offer if you want it too keep. I think tycho is right second handbook shops are your best hope.

You could try emailing penguin as it loks like they published it, I cant find it on their website though.

I managed to find the Penguin Australia website and i've emailed them hoping they can help.. i have the title, the author and even the ISBN but it's really frustrating me that i can't find it!... arrrghh!!

Other than that, the 2nd Hand Bookshop is your best bet. I remember there being quite a few good ones near Newcastle, especially at Tynemouth.

I also noticed that amazon has one buyer advertising for this book. Wonder who that could be...

I often trawl round secondhand bookshops/charity shops. I'll keep a look out for it!

I'm sure it'll be re-issued soon, with the standard blurb on the cover ('Now a major film!').

I've been given an email address for an Australian second hand book site who apparently have a million titles, so i've been in touch and hopefully something will come up there.

they have a website and search facility, usually they are very helpful.

Okay, i'm trying a search with Blackwells, here's hoping they find it and it's not too expensive!

Wow, now this thread took some finding!!!

But i'm happy to report that my search has been a success. I registered with Amazon Marketplace not long after i posted here and after months of waiting, i got an email last night telling me that a copy has been located and will be winging its way to me by the end of the week. It's taken me four months, shorter than i expected, considering i didn't expect to find it ever, but i'm happy now

Just need to find a cheap copy of the "Spider in the Bath" video for Hannah and i'll be a happy bunny. (Amazon are way too expensive for a second hand video, £14.99! )
