I used to go with my friends a few years ago. It was more fun than it sounds and wasn't full of old people. The beer & food is cheap and once we won £1000 (and split it 4 ways amongst ourselves)
Bingo

my mum is a bingo-holic,she goes most days of the week.i occasionally have gone and twice i won £250,the only problem is that we share it 3 ways and im the only one that ever wins big money.bingo is okay i guess
I used to go to Bingo every sunday night with my mum and sister. As T says it isn't full of old ladies and there are even quiet a few groups with guys in now that go to. Its a cheap night out and you can win loads of money.. we used to find we funded going with the previous weeks winnings
I really wanna give bingo a go. I keep trying to pursuade friends to come but to no avail. Maybe thats an idea for a meet...
i used to go all the time years ago every friday and sunday with my mum at the local railway club (older persons social club ) might give it a go again now if could be bothered.
No way, no how. Though my mum in law used to go quite regularly at one point. Wild horses couldn't drag me in one of those places..
i must add after reading Keeny's post though me going bingo with my mum WASNT voluntery though i was the youngest of 3 by 8-9 years so i was dragged everywhere as my bro & sis didnt wanna look after me (can you blame them?) it was only after a couple of years of being dragged to a railway social club that i gave in and joined in freely. lol.
I've never been to "proper" bingo.
But I do love seaside bingo, with the sliding doors. Where you win tokens & exchange them for simply fantastic prizes - picture frames (made of shells), trinket boxes (made of shells), mermaid figurines (made of shells), in fact anything you can make with a glue gun and a few shells.
