Seem to remember doing this before, some time last year. Pretty sure I got the same result:

Economic Left/Right: -9.00
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -7.90

So waaaaay left of Gandhi, Mandela or even Stalin. And pretty far south (or down, or whatever) from all of these too. But no surprise there.

The basis is a little bit off. The Social liberalism (true libertarianism) vs authoritarianism (and presumably totalitarianism) seems solid enough, but placing free marketeering and state capatilism (the 'communism' of Stalin) as the polar opposites on the left-right scale is overly simplistic and ignores other economic models.

OK, I'll stop whining now...

I'm a *lot* further left both economically and socially that I was when I last took the test, but while my economic score reflects this, my social score's crept quite a bit to the right.

Weird!

I came out at a

Oddly enough even more of a left wing liberal than before (just by a few points tho, i think)
