It's certainly odd.

The advert i found just plain disturbing was the breath mint advert with the dog coming out of the man's mouth. My daughter was absolutely terrified of that ad and it was shown all through the day before it was sensibly taken off the air.

Sorry, but the Orange adverts are far and above the most annoying ads on TV at the moment. OKay, they aren't scary in the traditional sense, maybe, but they are enough to give me nightmares.

I just saw the Asda clothes ad!

Oh dear gods, that's frightening!!

Please make the bad children stop...

ASDA's influence is just as scary as the advert... when you hear so-called "grown-ups" singing it (two guys no-less, one going extra-deep, the other extra-high) *shudder*

I thought some of my friends were scarey!

(lives in a valley in Yorkshire and only has BBC1, BBC2 and C4 so doesn't know what anybody's on about)

(but might be seriously contemplating getting Sky sometime soon)

Yeah, i've seen the Asda ad, and it is creepy. I must have a twisted mind though, cos i also think the Werthers ad's are creepy, and lets face it, you can't think they're creepy unless you've decided that the grandfather is a perv!

Also the direct line advert is creepy, cos that girl he's going out with SOOO looks like she should be his mum and he kisses her...urghh!!!

Don't know if you class this one as scary, but it makes my skin crawl.

The Lexus car advert where the guy drives around in deserted streets and then when he opens the car door he is suddenly surrounded by people.
The music/singing in that just grates on me.

I know what you mean about the Orange ads (if you mean those evil 'phone trainer' ones), I swear I want to kill the little kid with the headset on, preferably in the most painful way possible... (Mind you, I'd want to cut out his vocal cords with a spoon first! )

Does anyone remember the real fire advert which had toys moving and making their way to the fire to that famous tune (possibly called Hall of the Mountain King) by Pier Gint? I think there was a clown toy involved. That advert gave me the creeps!

Virgin have done a nice little mick-take of the Orange adverts, they were showing it at V festival. Basically the little boy was replaced with a young man and one of his pupils was talking about him and said "he turned me on [pause] well, he set me on vibrate" Classic
