Congrats to all and it seems most have got what they wanted/expected at the very least which is great

Results
Good luck to all A-level and AS level students getting their results tomorrow. Apparently there is a near 100% pass rate for all students this year. I will be going with my bf to collect his tomorrow and next week he'll come with me to get my GCSE results

Nice one Barbara, Yally (Yup, I was sure I'd failed something too, but it seems some examiner mismarked my papers! 
), Emma (nice one on the Film result! I *so* agree about the "soft subject" rubbish...), KaTIEStar, and any/everyone else who got cool results on Thursday...
I managed to get (dunno how, tho
): B's in A2 Film and Media respectively, E in A2 ICT (missed an exam and screwed up the coursework... d'oh! 
) and D in A2 English Lit/Lang, even with my funky coursework, one of the only ones I actually worked on! (Sods!)

You have no idea how sure I was that I'd FAILED history - I think they felt sorry for me considering I pretty much just scrawled out a few random words.

I am so pleased with myself. I cried!! I got an A in Drama, A in French, B in English Lang, B in Geography, C in English Lit, C in Biology and D's in Maths and Chem.

grrr, cut and paste isn't working so i'm gonna copy this by hand from my LJ
GCSE Results:
Biology - A (thought i was gonna do bad in that cos the exam was difficult)
Chemisty - A*
English Language - A
English Literature A
French - A* (i'm rubbish at french and so i tried really really hard)
Geography - A* (am sooo pleased cos this was the one i felt i'd done best in)
ICT - A (been expecitng a B)
Maths - A (i'm gonna get that remarked because well i'd been expecting an A* and my coursework was that standard and my mocs were too so...)
Physics - A
RS - A* the only one i got a breakdown of my marks in:
In my Media paper i got 100%!!! and in total for three papers i got 151/160, only dropped 9 marks in total!
I was rather pleased since i've had 1/4 of the two years off due to being ill and i've done 1 more gcse than others in my year and people thought i couldn't do it - pah!
I was soo excited i texted practiaclly everyone in my phone book so if you got a strange message about results then it's from me :rollseyes:

I got a v comfortable Pass for my ICT GNVQ, so I'm v happy as a few people didn't pass at all - and I took it 4 years early

ahhh good old Preston Poly! Tis my local university. My friend went there for a forensic type day thing with school and said how nice it was.
