I have jsut been informed its Talke like a pirate day, I may have to try this if I can get out to the pub.

Oh ye will be trying it out matey..... Ok thats all the pirate talk thats coming out of me today 
But for everyone that is willing to give it a try..... Have fun
And watch your backs as pirates are generally not very well liked under the lads... Although some gals seem to find them very appealing in a rough kinda way. So good luck with that pirate thing in the pub

Posted: 09:33 Sep 19 2003 Actually it was created by Dave Barry a while back. Back in April a girl on livejournal came up with 'Dress Like a Pirate Day' because talking like a pirate just wasn't enough
