My incredibly surreal and angsty eve

>was gonna go bowling with the gang anyway
>met them and stuff. Then phoned J to discover why he dumped me. It was cos he said we were better of as mates and that he liked me. And that he went out with me due to being available and that this girl he liked a lot had rejected him so he went out with me for the sake of it.
>Gatecrashed a wedding anniversary party at the De Vere Hotel. I needed to be alone so I walked over the road to the hotel. Had 3 diet Cokes and then find a private suite with the party, stood in the buffet line, sat at a table, got chatted up by some guys, got drunk, made up a story so I seemed like an invited guest.
>Phoned Dan (my best guy mate) crying and he walked over and rescued me.
>sat around moping all eve (what was left of it) and Dan was so lovely and kind and hugged me lots. ( I have a crush on him)

And yes I know getting drunk is bad and doesn't solve problems but I was kinda upset.

!!! Poor you, that's *awful*. It will be no consolation atm, but what I would like to say about the, um, person who dumped you cannot be posted on here... How dare he! Not only a really shoddy way of dumping someone, but a really really shoddy reason he give for going out with someone too. You are waaaaaay better than this twerp. This has happened to me more than once, and I figured recently that I was never going to let it happen again; guys like that are really not worth it - again no consolation, but probably ultimately better off out of it...

Nothing more to add than just sending you huge hugs honey *HUUUUGS* You're so much better than that, to be dumped in such a cowardly fashion isn't worth another of those tears. Cheer up soon sweetie *more hugs*
