I *can* on the otherhand say that some people (Nobody here obviously) are saying it because I'm Scottish. I should know judging by the micktakes. You get people that support the other home nations, and you get others that just gloat about it. simple as that.

To be fair the English receive at least as much flack (if not more) from our fellow Brits over sporting victories/losses as we give out.

After living in Wales for 14 years I'm *still* finding it hard to get my head around the fact that England victories are now celebrated and England losses mourned rather than the other way around.

It was a nail decimator of a match, and I'm bloody proud of Clive Woodward's boys for pulling it off in such a consistently professional and dedicated way. It was everything sporting legends are made of: horrible weather, pre-lynching in the Aussie press, opposition coming back from the brink with a vengeance, and then a last (20) second salvation when all seemed lost; real against the odds stuff. Any country has a right to go a wee bit wild after that. Knighthoods all round!

Everyone hailing from north of the border console yourself that we're only banging on so because it's a rare drink in a long drought.

Surely not as much though cos the Scots are cack at sport Well, unless you count Snooker, badminton and things like that. All the important sports lol.
