Same as last year - the damn christmas music won't get out of your head after going shopping in any store!!

You first hear 'Fairytale of New York' playing in the shops 
That happened on Saturday when I was in Boots. After putting up the decorations at work on Friday and choosing our Secret Santa person that just sealed the festive feeling for me and I felt i was allowed to start looking forward to teh event itself

When you're out every night during the week at a succession of Christmas bashes - fencing club, airsofters, reunion from old job, friends you've not seen in a while etc.

Christmas starts for me when all I hear while the kids are watching tv is "I want that!" and I reply with "You're having no more toys between now and Christmas. Put it on your lists". If I buy their pressies too soon I get bored and we end up opening them early - hee hee

It also feels like Christmas when I sit and watch "Bernard and the Genie," but you wouldn't know about that 'cos you don't have it! ner ner nerner ner!!
Also, thanks to my local radio, I have the following song stuck in my head:

But for me Christmas started last friday. I'm on leave until the 4th of January. Party time for me and Emma.
