I've got to follow in my namesake's footsteps somehow, and I get the feeling they might object to the opium pipe these days.
Hummm, methinks the pet bear wouldn't go down to well either. Pah, if they hadn't abolished bear-baiting I'd have my student debt sorted!

I think que a rant about "the other place" here, but they haven't sent me that part of the introduction pack yet. I'll leave that to the voice of experience in the thread.

Been looking over what I need to equip myself with (aside from a bicycle and surfeit of false modesty). Apparently I have to shop for a gown if I ever want to eat at Cambridge (and let's face it, you haven't lived until you've dined on roast swan). "It's okay, it's just like Hogwarts," said one of the students at the open day.
Oxbridge education egh?
