It is funny, when I first started my job back in June '98 I had to drive to Swansea from Kent, took me around 5 hours on the Monday morning.

Throughout that week the other trainers would come up to me to ask how it was going & then lean close & say 'Have you got you Pro Plus sorted out? Do you need any?'

Now I thought this was really worrying, I had never heard of Pro Plus before & thought that my new colleagues were all drug pushers!!

After a few days of this I asked another trainer outright - OK so are you all drug addicts on the team or what? She laughed herself breathless & explained to me that they were just caffeine tablets, like drinking a few cups of coffee.

I felt like such a fool! Needless to say that I did then find them on sale in service stations & all over the place after that. Now I am never without some PP tablets in my bag or suitcase for those 'didn't sleep very well' times


My question is this: How did you find out about Pro Plus tablets? (I need to know if I am the only one who had never heard of them!)
