Ahh, that brings back memories!

When i worked in Colchester there were 3 mruders on my street in under 11 months.

1 triad shooting, 1 schitsophrenic who beat his mother to death and 1 homeless guy stabbed in the head with a screwdriver! the police doggies became by friends by the third.

And that doesnt even include the man who trapped me on a park bench to tell me he'd just shot his best friend with a double barraled shotgun!

Thankfully my boyf of the time rescued me and i never read anything about it so i assume (and hope) he was lying/delusional.

One poor bloke where i worked tho, got questioned once and dragged to 2 ID parades, just because he'd got a grade 2 haircut!

My god i love essex

did they find the stash you'd stolen then? or smoking? whatever

Wow, the most exciting thing in my street was when there was a bomb scare and we all got evacuated and I had an arguement with a police man because he wouldn't let me get my dog!

There was a thing aswell where the main road that leads to my estate was blocked off because a man beat another man to death outside one of the houses.

Realllllly glad I don't live where Cat lived though!! scary!

By the way the bomb scare turned out to be a cheeseburger in a McDonalds bag...ah good old Widnes!

They found a dead body in a field behind my house last summer. Loads of stuff happens in Basildon. When i was staying with my sister in Manchester she was a bloke get shot at a cash machine.

hmmmm i was just thinking that!

I can chalk up a murder on my highroad (I believe the man responsible was jailed) and a shooting outside the pub-that-shall-remain-nameless at the end of said highroad. Until they *finally* renovated the place last year, you could still see the bullet-holes! It's now turned into a yuppie den guarded by bouncers that resemble the Mitchell brother's chunkier, scarier clones.

There was also a Yardie shooting in the (thankfully defunct) Island Club in Ilford: which is, literally, directly across the road from one of the most modern police stations in London.

Reassuring lot the old Bill ...

No bodies under the patio as yet though.

Well they are still there. Coule it be a possible murder? They have set up some sort of mobile unit out there anyway cos the bloody alarms woke me at 6am this morning

Good grief... glad I live in a sleepy corner of Scotland... though we do have occasional nastiness, it thankfully still isn't very often.

Not much happens in hick town, although recently there have been a couple of deaths, some strokes and a hanging so thats not too good.

My first week in Edinburgh I saw a drugs bust, but it was nothing major. Although everytime someone escapes from Saughton prison my dad calls me to see if i'm ok

I have NO idea they did a controlled explosion on the thing!! I think someone left it there then phoned the police saying it was a bomb, the kids make their own fun in widnes lol!

Well, the closest I've ever come was at my high school (Havoc should also remember this, he was there too... poor sod! ) was when one of the council houses opposite was covered in police, forensics, etc. for approx 2 days,

The rumours included gang war casualties, drug related stuff, one stupid cow even tried telling me "poor -------'s been shot in the head with a rocket launcher, apparently!" Now that made me laugh... in the end though, it turned out the poor soul was the victim of a little known pre-meditated (not to mention self-inflicted) assassination technique known as "drowning in the bath"...

Looks like it was defo manslaughter, not sure on the murder part. A man in his 50s was lobbed over the head by a brick and a '22 year old man has been arrested and is helping police with their enquiries' The elderly gentleman later died in hospital from his injuries.



This less than 20 yards from where I was sleeping (Well trying to).
