PMT - Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what exactly it is that can turn a beautiful sensitive understanding and caring woman into Jack Nicholson in The Shining, but it sure as hell scares me!!

I've just lived thru (just being the operative word!!) quite possibly the worst PMT of my life, and I'm a bloke!

There must be something that can help, it's torture for me watching someone you love struggle so desparately with their emotions, so being the one who has to live with it is unquantifiable.

Surely there is some wonder drug? Some herbal extract? Some diet supplement? Somewhere safe to hide every month??

Help!!!!!!!!

Well I can honestly say, that ever since my period stopped I haven't missed it at all, but saying that I don't actually remember it starting.

But trust me, I do suffer terribly with PMT!!

It's not only 94%. i'm on it too, and i distinctly remember being told it was more like 99% but i couldn't find my leaflet, but i found this: http://www.depo-provera.com/997_benefits.asp which says it's 99.7% effective which is better than the pill. all in all it's a miracle drug me loves it

Me was never given a leaflet. And the ones i get now are in spanish :S

But i agree, tisa wonder drug in't it!

And Kate, it takes me about 6 months to have another period, should i miss my injection. But hey, thats fine my me! I really dont miss them one iota!

Think pain that can make you pass out, not too hard a choice really.

My Sis also says to tell you all that, while Evening Primrose Oil has helped her regularity, it hasnt helped her PMT or pain.

Ooh, but i also meant to add, that these cures seem to be individual.

Evening Primrose did noting for me: pain, regularity or PMT wise. Nor did that fish oil (is it omega 6?).

I'm just offering a suggestion. Menstruation seems go be a very individual situation, i just personally recomend Depo.

I have another friend who swears by acupuncture. bit too spikey for me to try tho :S
