Ooooh anyone remember Ra Ra Skirts? I had three of them! A nice blue one with white polka dots, a white one with red piping and a plain red one......

bunking off school on a tuesday lunch to go to Woolies and listen to the new TOP40 Chart. Then running like mad to get back before afternoon registration.

Bunking off school to watch 'Neighbours' at lunchtime and thinking that my life would be over by the time I'm 20 'cos it's soooooooooooooooooo old

I *loved* my RaRa skirts

Mars bars were 20p.
Children's TV was actually good.
We played games in the playground, rather than discussing celebrities inane activities.
We still had Dr. Who.
The top 40 was half-decent.

*sigh* *nostalgia*

48k seemed like an awful lot of memory for a computer.

When mars bars were 15p and a lot of sweets could be had for 50p

Watching this new show about really cool robots called Transformers

Are you kidding - I owned the first home PC of any of my friends (actually a PC and not a "plug into the telly" job) and it had 80k of memory.

When Battle of the Planets was the coolest cartoon ever, and you'd run about with your arms out of the sleeves of your duffel coat, secured with just the top toggle, and pretend you were in G-Force.

The first panini sticker albums- and developing the ability to know exactly which of 300 stickers you did or didn't have... "Got, got, need, need, got, need....."

Playing conkers was cool.

And liking A-Ha wasn't reason to be giggled at, therefore proudly wandering round school with loads of leather laces tied round your wrists.

You could go on forever, LOL.

I watched that again last week hehe! My friend Paul has it on dvd, how good is the sound track?? He's got defenders of the earth too...we know the theme tunes and sing along...we need lives!

I remember gettin up really early with my dad to watch Gummi bears! And also Top bannana...despite how crap it actually was

I also remember when Jayce and the wheeled warriors was my favorite programme EVER! I wanted to be Flora!

And watching 'Why dont you?' and 'Pugwall' through all the holidays!!

Does anyone remember something called you cant do that on television or something??

I also remember when ice creams were incredibly cheap and everyone used to scatter wen the ice cream man (Mike - who is actually STILL our ice cream man) came to grovel money off their mums and dads...the candyfloss man was my favorite person ever though!!

When I had an Omega Computer with lemmings.
When mobile phone's were the size of a brick
When you could get 1 penny sweets, I've ceased to find them anywhere. All you can get is 2 penny sweets!
When Clueless came out, and I wanted to be Cher
In Season 1 Buffy where she used to wear really short outfits and huge colourful rings.
When mum used to dress me in dungarees and do my hair in incredibly scary early 90's styles.


May not be as old as you guys but I still have some memories!
