Hehe can't believe they were allowed to broadcast that and my parents let me watch it
Children's Television Just Isn't This Good Anymore
As the title says... it's not
Go here to see Geoffery, Bungle, Zippy and George pluck their twangers and play with their balls, as they say.
On broadband, the video will load in the box pretty fast, will obviously be slower on dialup.

It wasn't ever broadcast to children, but was broadcast as part of "TV Offal" on C4 in 1997:
Still plucking funny though
From www.htw.ndirect.co.uk/tvoffal.html
Much of the source material used by TV Offal comes from a little-known (outside of the tv industry) phenomenon known as 'Christmas tapes'. These are unofficial compilations of tv material made by tv station staff in their spare time which often comprised of a collection of 'outtakes' (presenters fluffing their lines, etc.) but also may include clips specially recorded for the tape, originally intended for the staff's own amusement only and not for transmission; the clip showing the Rainbow (kids' tv show) team letting off steam with 'the bad language' being a prime example. The excerpt used in the pilot episode came from a Christmas 1978 tape produced by Thames Television staff.
LMFAO!! Plucking genius!
