Why would a BT engineer have that much spare cash?? My Dad and my best mates Dad work for BT and our families certainly havn't got that much money to throw away! (I know thats not the point lol)

It should be a wake up call to the government about the financial strain put on alot of students that a girl was willing to do that!

Its rank! especially with him being old enough to be her Dad!! I'd rather have this debt thankyou very much!

So she finally got a buyer then. I remember reading the story initially in a colleague's Times/Daily Mail (can't remember which) and she put out a very good arguement for the story saying her virginity wouldn't be something to use because she was a lesbian - so why couldn't she sell it.

Within a few weeks, lots of similar "lots" went up for sale on ebay including some rank looking guys

I recall mentioning it in detail on my journal entry that day and on T21 very briefly

There are apparently many students according to newspaper articles that do lapdancing for funds, is this any different/better if its a one off?

At the end of the day Rosie had her partner to fall back on after the event. How she feels about herself from now on is only something she can answer I suppose.

Oh yeah, totally - the guy's old enough to be her father and is paying for her virginity, damn creepy. I wouldn't do it, because I wouldn't want to even meet the kind of person would pay that kind of money specifically for a virgin (not that I'm likely to go out selling myself to regular folks either

) Which is sort of my point, what's so great about virgins anyway? What sort of person pays that much for someone who has no idea what they're doing when you'll probably have a much better experience with someone else for much less money?
