The REAL Best British Sitcom- RESULTS!

After the travesty that was the final of the BBC Best Sitcom, I thought it was time to set the world to rights

Erm, why is it a travesty when the public voted? I can't argue with the final two, or the eventual winner. That's not to say I am not a fan of any of the final ten because they are all great in their way. It's hard to argue with a show that, up to recently, was consistently funny over twenty years.

Toughie. Trying to be halfway objective, I've used the criteria of best sitation, and most assured blend of comedy and pathos (special exception for Father Ted on grounds of being funny as feck).
