a lot of tattoo places can design it for you if you tell them what you want i dont think they charge for this but when my friend asked to have hers designs based on what details she gave him but this was a good 5-6 years a go so maybe some charge know. i dunno lol.

My tattooist (i go to the same place everytime, two brothers own it) designed my Bob for me so there are some around that will do it.

Years ago i tried doing one for G but it was pants lol, im just glad he didnt get it done!

Why not try tracing that pic and just changing bits? My fairy is from an artist called Amy Brown but i changed parts on photoshop to how i wanted it.

Also, if its your first tattoo be really careful about where you go, go in a visit it first and see if they have any examples of their work and just make sure it looks clean.

Thanks for the sdvice but i've already had a tattoo at the place i'm going to and that was recomended by my boyfriends sister who has a few.

The idea about changing bits of the original i like is good too, i might try thanks

This is slightly linked to Eve's post about her film but I just wondered if anyone here is any good at designing tattoos, I plan to get my second on in a couple of weeks time. I know what I want and where but I'm having trouble findind a decent design. I'd like a croucing winged Isis (as in the egyptian goddess) in the centre of my upper back.

Thats a beautiful design...personally if you want that kind of design go with traditional egyptian..they knew what they were doing.of course it will also depend on how big you want it as all that fine line work will bleed if you have it too small. I design tattoos for myself and friends i could see what i could come up with as i did a similar design for another.
