Um... I don't think mulitplayer mode *is* an option, it's always available. I've just erased one of my mission histories in order to start afresh and I can still go into multiplayer mode. The only time it gets greyed out so that I can't select it is if I only have one controller plugged in...
Goldeneye N64
Help me!
I'm such a melonhead. I've gone and accidentally wiped my Mission histories... okay, I cleared them on purpose to make it look tidier ... the problem is it has also wiped my Multiplayer option!!
Wah!!!
It's been so long since I first bought the game (and it wasn't new then) so I have *no* idea how to get the option back.
Someone please tell me and put me out of my misery! I've tried looking at a few cheatsites to see if I can unlock it with a code, but to no avail. *cry* All I wanted was a tidier fron screen

Is it possible that even after 3 and a bit years of dying it red - I'm still a blonde at heart?
I'll go and put another controller in it...

Does it work now?
Now you see you wouldn't have this problem if you owned as game with bots, like Goldeneye II, a.k.a Perfect Dark
Don't you have a go at Goldeneye, git!
Oh, sorry but... LMAO!

What, Goldeneye has major flaws, no bots and you can't walk off ledges. You do have to admit though that Goldeneye II is bettter.

But it's still a rightly-considered classic!

Just to add a quick one. They're making an official goldeneye 2. Due out the beginning of next year on all formats. I'll put some more up in a bit, but I have to go to a chartwork lecture now!!
Said game being Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, from EA.

They're making an official goldeneye 2.
According to the blurb, in Rogue Agent, we'll be playing as a 006 Agent who has been kicked out of MI6 because of his violent and aggressive actions... hence the title. So, basically, it's anti-Bond. The story involves working with Goldfinger in an effort to destroy Dr. No and his empire. Sounds fun.
Gameplay is being focussed on making it fast and furious. You can carry two weapons (ala Halo and the PS2 and X-Box versions will probably have online play available.
To make it look even swisher, they've got a great team working on it. Costume designer Kym Barrett (The Matrix, Three Kings), production designer Sir Ken Adams, visual effects designer Rene Morrel (Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within) and musician Paul Oakenfield are all working on the game.
Can't wait for it myself
But it's only called GoldenEye because the rogue agent in question has one. An actual gold false eye. *shrug*
But still, it sounds fun...
But still, it sounds fun...
ElectronicArts make some excellent games.

It's made by E.A, nothing more needs to be said as far as I'm concerned.
So basically it's gonna be nothing like Goldeneye then... Goldeneye focussed on stealth, that's what made it stand-out in a world full of Doom-clones.

And how can it be an official sequel to Goldeneye if it's made by a different company..? Is it gonna have anything on common with the original or is it just using the name to steal some popularity?
There's nothing wrong with a Doom clone if it's as good as Doom, but they never were.
Pretty much, we are talking E.A here, look what happened to Sim City, c'mon Sim City 4, it's Sim City 4000 dammit. The prime axamples would of course be C&C Red Alert II, Renegade and Generals. RAII didn't even adhere to the storyline it was supposed to follow (Imagine if in Enterprise they killed off the Borg), Rengade was nothing like the game it was based upon and was rubbish because E.A rushed them and don't get me started on Generals. There are two really bad computer games companies at the moment: Nintendo who are too busy telling gamers what they want to actully listen to what gamers say they wany, but hey what do we know? Then there's E.A who doesn't care as long as they make money, if you think about all the "evil money-grabbing corporation" stuff people say about Microsoft you'd be running the risk of making the understatement of the year.

Errr, could you name one please.
Need For Speed Underground is an excellent arcade style racing game.
Madden NFL 200x is an american football lover's dream, and their other sports titles are all pretty much as good as it gets.
And i don't know what your beef with Command & Conquer: Generals is, but i played it all the way through, and it was a very, very good RTS.
