Out of this group, i think Hugh Jackman is the best bet. He's got the look, he's proved in previous films that he can do both charming, and action hero.

He's not english (he's australian), but neither was Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton or Pierce Brosnan, so that doesn't make much difference.

I think Hugh Jackman cos he's the only one that fits the role out of the bunch.

He wouldnt be the first Australian to play the Role George Lazenby got there first and his parents are English.

It was a Hard one to choose between Didnt know whether to pick Clive Owen or Hugh Jackman, so I picked Jackman. Although Owen will probably be the next Bond and if he is I think he will make an excellent one.

Can't Believe people are voting for Farrell he must be the least Bondy of the bunch and is totally wrong for the role, as is Jude Law. And Kutcher someone run out of names to put on the poll.

My vote went to Hugh also. He's got the charisma to pull it off i think, plus he can do a credible English accent. I think it'd definitely get more bums on seats takings wise, i know i'll be first in the queue

I think Jude Law would be pretty good. I don't like Hugh Jackman much.

I think it should be Clive Owen, He was excellent in the bit part he played in the Bourne Identity, which is how I think bond should be, more on the lines of the way Dalton played him. I reckon the scripts will have a little of Brosnan's humour shaken (not stirred) in for good measure and to keep things fairly lighthearted, which isn't what Flemming would have wanted, but what audiences would demand.

Hugh Jackman is Hugh Jackman. In many ways he's bigger than the role, and he's getting to the point where he's playing the part of Hugh Jackman in his action movies. He should stick to being Wolverine. Because in that role he's absolutely great.

I agree thats the way all secret agents (and probably are) should be cold killers.

Im looking forward to the sequel to the Bourne Identity, hope they make the trilogy from the books.

Personally I think Alexis Denisof(WESLEY on ANGEL) would make the best Bond and should have been included in the choices.

Definetlay don't agree with that...I think thats more the Buffy/Angel fan in you talking...I don't feel that Alexis Denisof could play the role convincingly and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't attract the audience for a Bond film.

Personally I wouldn't pick anyone from the choices given and I'm not entirley sure if I can think of an established actor that could play the role.

An unknown actor could be good or how about a totally unconventianal one where we go with a black Bond..or heaven forbid a woman!!

I knew soon or later someone would suggest this one, whilst the character is removed from the written one you have to keep some credibility and making bond a woman is losing that. If they want a woman secret agent how abot giving Jinx a try.

Why not? Not to say it would definatley happen but an unknown actor might just inject some interest back into the Bond franchise. I'm think a lot of people would go just to see what affect it had. Hey I could be wrong *shrug*

The problem is MGM probably wont want to take that chance on a relative unknown and the havent since George Lazenby, Roger Moore was known for The Saint, Dalton for various work and Brosnan for Remmington Steel.

Com to think of it the two of the past bonds have starred in tv shows Alexis Denisof could be in with a chance.
