Anyway sounds like a good pizza, chocolate and vodka night to me

Well, as per usual, I'll be watching. I've read all about them making the house smaller, getting rid of the pool for a jucuzzi, having a mixed bedroom and a watchable shower-room. All in the hope it'll lead to some sort of sexual encounter. It certainly can't be any duller than last year's.

Anyway, it'll be nice to have a long-running thread discussing something non-political and shallow

I haven't watched any of the previous big brother seasons, and I probably won't watch this new one unless something drastic happens, but it's very interesting that they've decided to make the house smaller and mixed the bedrooms.

The shows aim is part sensationalist voyeurism and part psychology exam, and people respond very differently when you stick them into very confined spaces.

How much smaller is the new house supposed to be? If it's *really* small, it could really churn out to emotional/fraught interaction between the contestants, which could be quite interesting.

What could possibly be more edifyimg than watching a group of people corralled together with copious amounts of booze in the hope that they'll stop talking about themselves long enough to have sex?

I love watching Big Brother, which is probably very sad, but what the hey.

I wasn't planning on watching the last one, but i ended up doing so and it was the most boring one, but i didn't find it *that* boring.

This one should be interesting though. be interesting to see how many of them leave the shower see through. hope the ugly ones frost it out or it'll all be very very wrong

Well I did like it and every year I say I won't watch it but I guess Endemol has a good way of getting everyone hooked. I hope they have a big breasted blonde Essex girl, cos Jade was fantastically dumb

Sounds like what I have planned for my BBQ (which incidently will be on the TV that night )

i've always liked the closeness shows like this bring [having seen a massive group of mate get together on a weekly basis at a pub in the westend when it first started] but i always refuse to watch it lol though Grahame Norton [whose GREAT] is at his zennith when he has the shows to use for his materials it encourages me to watch the highlights before his show so i get whats going on lol.
otherwise it's the constant muting and bird/outdoor sounds they use to almost 80% of the time is what stops me from watching at silly o'clock in the morning and i cant sleep. {last time i watched big brother though i had a nosebleed within a minute of starting watching it LOL]

Seriously though I'll be watching just to see what I missed out on. It'll be interesting to see if the guy picked from my group gets onto tv (6ftodd Glaswegian gay black guy whose name I can't remember). I wonder what(if anything) they'll show from the auditions. They took some footage of the crowd and interviewed a couple of people in front of us in the queue so I might yet end up on tv

Big Brother i'll soemtimes watch bits of, but overall i'm not really bothered by it, its jsut somethnig to watch after the pub. Milky what happened to the others you met in the queue, are you still ni contact with them?

Yup...still speak to them all with bi-weekly emails. Toby is talking about going to the next Nos that I go to. Kerstee has invited me down to the Isle Of Wight which could be a laugh and Jaki is my personal email spammer with numerous joke things making their way into my inbox each week. The auditions were a great laugh...just wish I could have gotten in

Last year at work it got quite silly. I had a massive crush on Ray 'cos he had a dirty Irish accent and no hair, we made a male colleague speak in an Irish accent for weeks after the end of the show

Just seen an ad on E4 for a compilation show of the best bits over the last four series. Should be a laugh
