I suppose it depends how sheltered their religious life is. Although there are so many myths about touching belly buttons and storks, perhaps they thought that was the way to go! Makes you intrigued about whether they did any form of touching at all though.

Perhaps they should send some of the early starters from the UK over there to calm them down a bit
