If you have a Video and TV combination that both play NTSC, it will work. If not... don't bother

Technical help needed
I know that several of you are pretty good on the technical front and was wondering if anyone could pass on some advice.
I've been after a copy of an unaired pilot, and someone has offered to send me a copy from America. Is there any chance it will work over here? Oh nearly forgot, it's a VHS tape by the way!
