I kinda agree with Random. While it all makes excellent viewing, it really *is* getting nasty now. I've found myself feeling quite uncomfortable with some of the stuff that's happened over the last two days. And, bearing in mind we have another 7 weeks to go, things are gonna have to be toned down and sorted out or we might get the first abandonment of a BB series.

I'm all up for some heated rows and sexual antics but it was never this viscous and cruel before.

I think it's great...I hate the fact that some of the housemates are complaining about how things are (eg Nadia and her fags, Ahmed and his 'isolation') These people queued for hours to get on this tv gameshow. What were they expecting? 10 weeks of getting pissed at night and sleeping in the sun during the day? I knew that if I'd gotten on BB there would hopefully be people there that I got on really well with and that there would definatley be someone there I didn't like...if you're going to do it though you just have to live with it.

Dealing with other peoples personalitys and quirks is part of the game. Saying that I don't condone violence especially against women so if Victor has physically assaulted one of the girls or vice versa then the person that was assaulted should have the decision to remove the assaulter from the house.

The more I see of this series the more I regret not getting on as I think I'd have been having a whale of a time by now. I'd probably have concocted some plot to make Marco lose his voice though and knowing me I'd have made a drunken pass at Nadia just to give you lot something to laugh about

Ananova's reporting that the police were called in by viewers and have been interviewing production staff. This is getting less and less like a game show and more like Ben Elton's 'Dead Famous' with each passing day.

Theres now loads of stuff on the channel 4 website...bout time they updated it.

I think the thing that disturbs me the most was this:

"Shell was so upset by the frightening turn of events that she collapsed and threw up on the bathroom floor."

I'm as voyeuristic as the next person, but enough is enough.

Unless Shell is just "playing the game". Shell stays near my mums place(about 15 miles away) and I'm guessing she'll have been out locally a few times. What happened last night ws no worse than what you'd see late on a Saturday night in most city centres, sad but true. Put it this way, how many people are thinking poor little Shell just now?

It's very different to a night out. Shell can't just walk away from the scene and forget about it, she's trapped in that house with all the others, living with the animosity, rage and bad feeling they have for each other.

Combine that with not having her cigarettes and the not having seen anyone or the outside world for 2 or 3 weeks, and it's easy to see how she could very well be that upset.

Or maybe she is acting, but i don't think it's fair to say it's no worse than going out and seeing a fight.

Granted she can't exactly walk out the front door but she can move to another seperate part of the house. The not having cigarettes and not seeing anyone/the outside world is a cop-out. She went on a show which states beforehand that you're locked away from everything for 10 weeks...is it really that difficult to comprehend?? Maybe I'm just less shocked by this sort of thing *shrug*

Yes, she did go on the show and she knew it would happen. But knowing a situation and experiencing it are two completely different things and I expect it's a lot harder in the house than you, I or anyone else that hasn't done it expects.

True but if your *willing* to do something then surely you have to be able to live with the consequences even if you don't like them?

For example if I was willing to jump out of a plane then I'd have to be willing to accept the consequence that my parachute wouldn't open and I'd end up a splat on the floor..granted I'd probably not be too happy about the though leading up to it but I would have chosen to do it knowing that the risk was there.(Perhaps an extreme example though ) Perhaps this is better for another topic than hijacking the BB thread though

I've been out most of the evening, missed all but the first ten minutes of BBLB, but the small amount of footage I saw on that made me change my opinion on who was really to blame.

Frankly, when Jason had Marco and two others leaping up and down under his nose jeering at him, he did well to do no more than threaten him. I for one would have thumped the hystrionic little twit and to hell with the consequences. And Emma definitely threw a metal plate at Victor's head from point-blank range.

The whole thing just depresses me. I do honestly believe that the great mass of humanity is stupid, boorish and moronic 95 per cent of the time - that's the real reason why I gave up politics, I was sick of flogging my guts out for a population largely consisting of brainless idiots - but it still makes me seethe with anger and frustration to see the proof of it.

Got to say I watched two of my very good friends beat the crap out of eachother on my 18th birthday and I didn't run off and cry in a corner! I think yeah you can panic but unless she's lived in a bunker her whole life I'm sure she's seen fights before. I'm sure it was horrible but you know what thats life, people are like that unfortunatly, just walk away, yeah fair enough go off to the bathroom out of the way - probably the best thing to have done but it just felt like a big overreaction!

Anyways Jay and Victor, how pathetic, yeah they're the big hard men when they're picking on a little skinny guy and a couple of girls! Victor with his 'Do you know who i am?!' ...erm no sorry cant say i do! Marco shouldn't have taunted Jay but erm overreaction much?! I know i've got a temper and i can flip at people but it would take a hell off a lot more than some guy dancing at me! Ugh people really do scare me!

It went too far and it seems it might be better for all concerned for at least some house members to call it a day! x

I first knew about the fracas yesterday morning, via the web, but the first chance I had to see a discussion about BB was 'EFourum' at 3 and, as it turned out to be 'Catch up', I had an interesting perspective on events. It was mostly about the imminent return of Emma and Michelle, and that mostly concerned Emma's pronouncements about how she was going to wind Victor and Jason up. Never has such supreme self confidence (or delusion?) been combined with such an utter incapacity for political (and everything is political) intrigue. I wouldn't have bet on Emma doing anything other than blurting out everything (while jumping up and down). I certainly wouldn't call telling Marco and Nadia about Victor and Jason (like it was a huuuuge secret) discreet. Just gave those two a chance to stir things, and then blame Emma. 'Get back in there ASAP', Michelle? What a difference a day makes...

Ack, now I sound like Kevin O'Sullivan, talkiing to people who can't hear me

From watching the show last night I felt that Jay was mostly to blame for what happened. You could tell from the moment to two girls arrived back in the house that Jay & Victor weren't happy to see them. Those two then seperated themselves from the group to the garden where they talked about 'upping their game' and how there would be bo more mr nice guy. They both went on about how it was time to cause mayhem and chaos. Granted Emma was doing her best to wind things up but imo Jason had already decided he was going to kick-off. It was Jason that started shouting the odds.

Jason shouted that they better get every f**kin crumb off the floor and tidy up or else. Marco gave it some yeah, yeah and then Jason told him he'd better do it or he'd knock his f**king head off. This was when Nadia and Emma interfered trying to get Jason to calm down, defending Marco. Things calm down for a second or to till Jason repeats his threat and Marco does a gay little 'I'm so scared dance' which drives Jay mental. Victor then stepped in to pull Jason away which is when Emma started on Victor. Victor told her he was only trying to split things up and what was she going to do, Emma then squares up to him which gets a laugh from some of the HM's. You then have Emma asking Victor what he's going to do so Vic throws his drink over her, to which she throws some food at him..they're then throwing food at each other, Emma turns her back and Vic throws a silver dish at her. This sends her off the deep-end and she goes for him. This is where they split everyone up and Victor got sent to the diary room. After a while you've got everyone in the bedroom when Jay once again starts on everyone, again threatening Marco and even telling Dan to watch it. Nadia and co check how Shell is but are told to leave her alone by Vanessa who says she's dealing with it or some such. Nadia takes umbridge and says something along the lines off 'I'm sure it'll be fine if Vanessa says so' which sends Vanessa into one...she goes for Nadia which is when security enters the house to restore order.

To me Jason started the whole thing and kept stirring the pot. Emma was wrong to start on Victor cos he was trying to split it up but there was no need for him to throw a tray at Emma. Vanessa shouldn't have gone off at Nadia either.
