Hitting someone and beating them down are also two very different things. Hitting someone in self-defence is not bullying IMO. If anything the person who attacks first is bullying the other, it's just that the other person is able to stand up for themselves.

Jason was over reacting to Marco DANCING, nothing else. Emma did throw the plate first, but sideways and not really aimed at anyone - Victor then threw it at her head when her back was turned!

Ditto to what Teresa said on the Marco/Jason thing. If Marco was just dancing then all Jason did was shout, and there's no law against shouting (or Emma would've been evicted after Day 1 ). Marco was definitely not *just* dancing.

As for Emma/Victor, Emma knew exactly where she was throwing that tray. She threw it at Victor's head while his back was turned, exactly the same as he did to her afterwards.

I agree with PoF here. If someone attacks you then you have a right to defend yourself to an equal degree. For example if someone was to throw a peanut at me then they couldn't really complain if I threw it back. If I instead threw a chair at them instead I would be over-reacting to the situation and becoming the bullier.

That has to apply to either gender. However some people have a different view on it to others. If a girl/woman was to punch me in the face i wouldn't be able to hit them back. I would restrain them so they couldn't hit me again or I would push them away from me to create space between us so they couldn't do it again but I wouldn't punch a girl in the face..I'd be too frightened about what sort of damage it would do to them.

Natural Selection isn't it?

If I hit a boy I would expect to get one in return. I can't stand girls who think they can go around mouthing off, punching men and not expect anything in return.

Ditto, I think it's more that a guy would be hesitant to smack a girl back because of the kind of stigma attatched to it. Its instinctive that if someone hits you you hit back wether they're male or female. If i hit someone I mean it, I dont expect them to let me off because i'm a girl!

Dan and Stuart (future husband - he'll go far with those 4 A's at Alevel i'm telling you) have done themselves alot of favours this week. I dont think any of the rest of them have come out looking particularly good.

Victor and Jay need a wake up call, they seem to be the only ones who don't realise they're a pair of idiots and Victors a wannabe gangster! Emma should go she's too much trouble. Despite everything I still love Marco for the fact that he just laughed while Jay shouted at him! (note to jay: When even Marco just laughs in your face it should be telling you something )

BB said that Emma was no more to blame than anyone else, but they feel that her going back into the house may cause a repeat argument.
I think this is really mean, 'cause she's the only one being properly punished. Plus they gave her a false sense of security by saying that she would only receive a warning, she was really happy as well.
It must be 'cause of all the complaints, c4 must be trying to look like they didn't WANT it to happen (which of course they did, 'cause it boosted ratings so much). I don't get why people are complaining so much. If they don't like it, why don't they just switch it off? I'm only 15 and I've seen worse right in front of me.

O joyous day! Maybe there is a god after all....

Tonight's show was actually quite good. The group are back at peace. Victor and Marco chatting on the sofa at the end was a happy sight. It even made me warm slightly towards Nadia after her emotional display of feelings of guilt about the Jay incident. I do wish that Jay had gone out to talk to her, but some people are stubborn like that...

At least I now believe that the series can return to being the Big Brother that I know and love.

Looking more and more like C4 could get badly burned by BB this year.

If it was true he'd have been kicked out of the house. They couldnt let someone who tried to attack a housemate with a knife stay there.

However it almost dosn't matter whether it's true or not, one way or another significant allegations have been made by, or attributed to, Channel 4 or the production company; even if the allegations are unfounded they present at least (1) defamation by NotW and/or C4/producers, and (2) mishandling of the housemates image by C4/producers.

Sure, it could be completely made up by the NotW, but the allegations are significant enough to require police to look into them, and in the wake of Piers Morgan's recent ooops the tabloids are going to be a little more cautious than normal in publishing completely unfounded material -- my guess would be that the story did indeed originate in comments from someone they knew to work for C4 or the production company.

It certainly sounded like it was insider information to me..

Apparently Victor had a knife in his hand because he had been buttering toast when it all kicked off - seems like the NOTW simply span this fact into a Knife wielding maniac story.

I do believe that they busted the bedsit thing though, there were a few times I heard bedsit slip through someones lips then all of a sudden the audio would drop out, or the picture would flip to another camera..

this is why i detest BB they say it's all live but cencor out stuff in perfect timing they should call it slightly live. i grew sick and tired of it a few years a go when the only times i'd put it on and the sound had been replaced by tweeting birds so i didnt give it a chance this year but even since on the odd occasions when ive been flicking through i still manage to only catch the bits where the sound has been dubbed over - it does my head in!

what are the chances they eventually decide to make [EVEN] more money someday by doing it by Pay-Per-View? - would you still watch?

I don't watch it now, only caught the odd couple of minutes while flicking around, it really doesn't hold my interest

No doubt PPV is the next move for BB..

They've already started down that route, at least they have on the web side of it. During the first two series you could watch the live stream 24 hours a day on the BB website absolutely free, as well as selelcted highlights of all the best bits. Then I think during the third series you had to pay for the live stream but you could still watch the highlights for free. And now you have to pay to watch any of it...
