There's going to be another eviction next Wednesday night. Not sure yet exactly how it'll happen. They'll either get rid of the person with the least votes to win or there is talk of a 'Pub Quiz' task and the winner and loser being put up for a quick eviction vote(ie task on Monday, eviction Wednesday) or the loser is plain evicted(supposedly this won't happen as it could have a negative public outcry as the public wouldn't have gotten to choose who went).

He HAD been shouting at her. Shell was crying in the bedroom when the music started. Victor went to the dance floor and started shouting at Shell - something along the lines of "why are you here? what have you done in this house? Your never going to win". Not particularly abusive stuff but enough to wind someone up who is already upset.

So Victor's gone... I'm a little bit surprised, but not completely disappointed. Obviously I'd have loved Nadia to go, but I guess Victor was next best. He started off as a prick and he finished up as a prick. In between he did have a fair few quite good moments though, I'll give him that.

It'll be interesting to see how Jason acts now. He'll either become even more reclusive or he might start acting a bit more like the old Jason again. Though if he's gonna be leaving on Wednesday that doesn't leave much time for a personality change.

Stuart, Dan and Shell are all (mostly) cool. That's about it.

Davina told Vic he was 150,000 votes behind Jason before the wedding night bust-up. He lost by 120,000. That's more than a quarter of a million vote swing in two days, when only 1.8m voted in total.

Against a contestant the producers had decided they didn't like any more.

Not so strange really- I don't generally vote, and after the wedding night thing, I voted for Victor, because I was raging at him.

Whether or not Shell overreacted, he certainly was pleased with himself for making her cry, which is just plain horrible- in fact, I think it's utterly contemptable.

To be honest, I think his behaviour toward Shell probably caused the backlash of voting against him- whether you personally like her or not, she is the kind of person that most people are going to prefer to a prat like him. I felt so sorry for her when she was in the diary room afterwards.

If she was a player, right enough, she would have waited until after the first dance to go mental at him. At least she came down off the fence. Ach, I like her, anyway- she seems to me to be the sort of person you just want to give a hug to and tell them it'll all be sorted... then again, I'm a bit of a sucker for vulnerable types- brings out my protective streak, lol.

Just to clarify the Wednesday eviction thing I mentioned earlier it'll be next Wednesday not this week.

There's now some serious spinning against Michelle going on - anyone see the double page spread in the News of the World about how she's a bunny-boiling psycho?

The odds have been changing at the back of the field on the strength of it - not much movement at the front but tonight you could get 25-1 against a Jason victory and 20-1 against Michelle, compared with about 100-1 and 9-2 respectively before she disappeared under the table with Stu.

On a side note, here's a book recommendation: Living in the Box, by Dean O'Loughlin. Remember him from BB2? He's written the inside story of his selection and participation, and the aftermath. He's got a lot of stinging words to say about the programme-makers and he's also broken his contract, which bans him from writing anything that Endemol UK doesn't approve before publication.

Basically it's one long, well-written, badly-punctuated, self-published, two fingers up to them, and because it's not officially approved he hasn't been able to get a publisher.

Instead, he's published it himself and is selling it on E-bay (look for a seller called 'thegamefordfiles'). It's not too expensive, and it ought to be compulsory reading for anyone interested in the show. Particularly Milky, to see what he narrowly escaped!

Ooooh, sounds like an interesting book. I always liked Dean too.

I've been reading a lot of tales of auditions, primarily from previous series and they do seem to go on about how it can all go against you. Endemol do tell you that the press can be rough on you, your friends and family can turn against you because of it and that because of your tv exposure you might not even be able to get a job. Even after reading all that I'd still want to go on it.

I don't want to go on it for the fame or the money. Face it, who gets famous from Big Brother now? There are probably far easier ways to get famous. The money would be nice but if I didn't have it to begin with I'm not likely to miss it if I didn't win. I don't want to go in to make a statement or prove a point. I want to go in and have fun and see if I can bond with 11 strangers in a small house with none of the usual things to occupy my time eg television, music, the internet. I don't understand why some people go on the show, Ahmed and Jason spring to mind this year. Neither seemed to enjoy it and Ahmeds main reason to me seemed to be so that he could meet Davina McCall.. *weirdo*

*If* there is a BB6 then I'll apply. I'd just like to try the experience *shrug*

What they don't tell you, according to Dean, is that Endemol itself can be rough on you, and especially so on your family and friends.

I agree with you about Jason - it may be that he's just someone who likes being the centre of attention, and figured you can't be much more so than on BB. Ahmed kept saying he'd imagined going in and coming out, but had no plan for the bit in between - that sounds to me like another case of liking the idea of attention.

You keep trying to get on BB - I wasn't implying you shouldn't, and I hope you manage it. After all, I just had an unsuccessful shot at getting on the first series of The Apprentice, but struck out at the interview. I'll probably have another go next year.

We just need to keep our eyes open about what we're getting into, that's all.

Okay, hands up who thinks Michelle's jealous insecurities are going to explode into a class-one hissy fit real soon! She's trying to keep her comments at Shell lighthearted, but I reckon the mask will slip into an explosion- she isn't handling it at all, lol.
