I cried too. It was the biggest travesty in BB history. I can't really bring myself to watch the rest of the programme... (yes, I'm only seeing it now, damn late-shift...)

I'm glad Nadia won. I know it was a lot to do with BB editing, but it was definitely more to do with acceptance than the money. She just didn't care.
I am shocked that Jason ended in the runner up position, but he certainly didn't have a chance against Nadia's 74% of the vote.

I hardly watched much of this year except towards the end as i was invited over for the final eviction night and Dan is FOINE! he just got more and more attractive to me the cockier or cheekier he was and im not referring to nude shots.
oh and i SO did not cry when Nadia won I cried more when Dan was watching his time in the BB house and asked Nadia is she wanted a cuddle. bless.

Dan's in tomorrow's News of the World - some good pictures and a few quotes in which he says he fancies women too.
Shell's in the Star - very nice pics there too for the Shell fans.
Both Jason and Nadia are being reported as have decided not to sell their stories.
(I'm working in a newsroom tonight so I get to see the early editions

Posted: 01:11 Aug 08 2004 It just now occurred to me that Jason may well have thought he had the contest in the bag, being a tad too egotistical to surmise that there was a reason Nadia made it to the last two. My only vote of the series went to Jason in the end, much to the disgust of my wife (Random's argument about Jason's journey (odyssey?) being persuasive). As things turned out, public mawkishness won out over... erm, glower power. Jungle Cats, take note.

The most successful housemate to date has been Brian Dowling who didn't sell his story and disappeared with his winnings for a few months while everything settled down, then he was able to look at the more serious and long lasting job offers that came his way. Besides, Nadia could make more money writing an autobiography than selling her story to the red tops

Michelle got £125,000 for going with the Star and all their sister publications. Stuart got £100,000 for the same. The News Of The World offered them both £25,000, a bit of a difference wouldn't you say
I feel sorry for Ahmed, he got £7000 from the News Of The World *snigger* Guessing Shell will be getting as much as Stuart. Supposedly none of the tabloids wanted a deal with Nadia as they felt that their readers wouldn't be able to relate to her as she's not feminine enough Shell's deal also supposedly depended whether she would do Page 3 so don't be too surprised to see her with her 'baps' out shortly. Can't remember what Victor's getting for doing the Sun and Zoo but it's no more than £40,000. Looks like the real winner of BB5 has been Michelle.
