Synopsis : Drama series following a group of twentysomething teachers grappling with professional challenges and personal dilemmas.

The 1st series of Teachers was hilarious and couldn't wait for the 2nd series. My video is already set for tonights episode....Mmmmmm Andrew Lincoln....

Also on BBC 1 at 7:30pm tonight is the brand new series Rockface which is effectively 'Holby City' meets 'Monarch of the Glen' up a Mountain, and stars Mark Womack

Teachers was great lastnight.

Was it just me, or did Teachers seem really different last night? Not better or worse, just different. I guess it was hardly focused on Simon which was a change. And there was only one day thingy and just one iccle daydream. It was weird. Ha ha, Jenny and Penny.
Did anyone watch A Day in the Death of Joe Egg? I'm sure that one of the teachers from Teachers was in it.

It's trash, but it's entertaining trash... And it has a good soundtrack.

I have to wonder if you'd be able to tell the difference if the teachers were pupils, such is their level of maturity, but maybe that's the the point..

I don't think teachers really are that much more mature than their students (in my experience anyway!). What makes me laugh is the way they blatantly swear and talk about their sex lives in the corridors as though students are entirely deaf. HA DEE HA. I don't think it's exactly trash. Better (and strangely more realistic) than Hope and Glory, now that's trash. Teachers is just, well, fun

I quite enjoyed the last series and will probably watch this one - but have to admit it really only gets my viewing because of the programme before it.
